My bf and I are both 8s and we're 23. Both of us struggle with being too nice to the point of being doormats. I've found myself trying my best to avoid authority and attention. I rarely ever tell people what I think because I don't want to undermine anyone or hurt their feelings. Sometimes I purposely underperforming so people won't think I'm "better" than them. I consciously started down playing myself because people were always jealous of me or thought that I felt like I was better than them. Being less than myself made me really depressed for quite some time. I've finally made the descision to stop avoiding who I am. And it's already made me so much happier.

That's something I still struggle with as well. I believe it's a matter of finding the courage to stop doubting and holding yourself back. How other people perceive you is actually not your responsibility. Your responsibility is to be the best version of yourself that you can be. Your best version is only something that can be decided upon and measured by you.

I'm an 8 life path and I'll skip the people, power and authority, and take the money, thank you very much.
Life Path 8 here. I've definitely felt the struggles and swift effects of karma in all my actions. I've also been prone to slow delays, which I thought was due to having Jupiter in Capricorn - whereas it actually is in Sagittarius (in Vedic).
Anyway, I work in business related fields and have a natural affinity for this. However my limiting beliefs have caused me to stagnate at mid level careers. I see this as a long period of gestation though, and know my skills are strong and transferable.

I really liked your comment and your astrology knowledge. Please don’t throw the western system out the window. If you like the Vedic that’s super fine and that can be your main go to, but the western system has its own wisdom for you, if you are still a beginner stick to one astrology language, if you are advanced, use them strictly in their own para meters😊

I found the discrepancy between my vedic and Western charts wasn't too vast, but it's definitely resonated on a different level.
Ironically, numerology is the only system that isn't interchangeable - there's something comforting about that.

I have an 8 life path and a 22 soul urge. (2+2)=4, (4+4)=8. The first half of my life is exactly how you described it. I was at the bottom levels of the loop for sure. You could also call it the bottom of the wine barrel. Now i'm rising into the second stage of my life, and into the upper levels of the barrel and into my higher self form and soul's urge.

Thank you for this series, I find it incredible how we can fit into these life path numbers. I seem to be a typical 8 and find it very reassuring and inspiring. Yes, I have been bankrupt and have graduated to my second phase of concentrating on money and abundance after being a doormat. I have also been working on accepting that I have natural power and authority. I have shy'd away from that for a number of years because it made me feel arrogant but I am now very comfortable with who I am, even my directness 😊.

So, ok I like how this was presented and feel uneasy about how overtly accurate it is. My problem has been the poverty thing as the result of several failed businesses and health concerns, and yes, the recovery from deeply intense family issues from childhood on.
No matter how many different approaches I take, it just doesn't unrelent and simply give me some fundamental security. I do have the resillience and it's getting harder to keep up emotionally at 53. At this point in my life, I need to change it or im screwed. Perhaps not the best "mentality" but I am quite the realist, tarot cards and all. So yeah, a little help?

Not everything of course but, atm I am struggling yet always have felt this greatness inside me waiting to explode. I have so many parrallels to Paul Newman. But for the next year and a half ill be slave labouring as a landscaper trynna build up my body to the level i want in prepearation for my fighting career goals. Hi Brandon. I don't have a lot of experience with the Master Number 44. I have had one client - a young girl - who carried that Life Path number. My feeling about it is that it is an elevated and intense path and yet requires resilience and immersion in mastering the elements of the 4 (hard work, working with limitation, systems-building, and slow-and-steady processes, just to name a few of the attributes of the 4) and then elevating or integrating those elements with the amplified energy of the 8 (all about mastering all elements of the material world - money, power, control, authority, ethics - just to name a few of the attributes of the number 8). And so like all Master Numbers, it indicates higher potential and also more intense challenges. This person will learn (over and over again) about empowerment on all levels and will face challenges that more than likely aren't for the faint of heart or those who are weak-willed. It’s been hard for me to understand how I have an 8 life path.. I’m 26 years old. I’m a Virgo. I’m very shy and not outspoken with people at all. I’m super compassionate and put others over myself. I don’t have material desires, I don’t love money, or even desire to have a life that’s richer than the average. This is very confusing to me lol. Is there another dimension/explanation of the 8 life path which would relate to someone like me?
I would suggest knowing your full chart because remember, the Life Path is what you're EVOLVING INTO and learning about. I find that 8s can struggle in the way you describe ... and then it will depend on the other numbers in your chart and how they align and interplay with your Life Path purpose.

At 26, I felt the same way. I was content with my life, just living with bills paid and a little extra, putting everyone ahead of myself, and limiting my voice. The key word CONTENT. At 29, I realized that I wasn't happy....I had just broken up with my on again, off again boyfriend. But I realized that I wasn't happy because I was just existing. And just sought to live for me. I moved, bought a car, got back in school and really surrounded myself with people that weren't afraid to get out and do things. I came into my own...found my voice, and realized I wasn't born to just work and die. I knew I was destined for more. So as I sought it, I failed, got knocked down, learned, and failed again. I just found my number path and it's not what I expected but what I learned to be the path I was resisting. Learn from it and embrace that your mind is stronger than you think and you are able to build true wealth.... Not just riches, and have the ability to change lives.

Kristen Ambriel a lot of numerologists don't emphasize the importance of your day number and attitude number. ill use my birthday as an example.. -9/17/1995. life path 5 right..yes, but my day number is 17 which when combined adds to 8. the day number represents how you think about life and is also ruled by whatever planet that governs that number. last but not least is the attitude number. and this represents how you "express" your life path .. this is done by adding the month+day and combining to single digit.. (mine as example) {9+1+7}=17. 1+7=8. ..8 appears again in my attitude. So im expressing my life path with an attitude of 8 and think about life with the 8s materialist outlook. you should apply this to your own birthday numbers.. it will shock you definitely
