His performance in that fight might not have resulted in the desired outcome…but when removing that aspect, it was nothing short of incredible!! He did what nobody thought could be done! When everyone doubted him. Especially now this far removed from it, the outcome of the fight as a whole itself is even less significant in my opinion. I remember being AWE inspired by his performance. Yes crushed at the time when he didn’t get the belt for it…but SO inspiring nonetheless! We should all look for the inspiration we can extract from the fight itself, not only the result.

But the ESPN MMA youtube page is also using the same circle/thumbnail style for videos from SportsCenter, First Take, and even numbered UFC events. Multi billion dollar company and not one college marketing major working there has the pull/common sense to read the comments on every good guy bad guy show and see that the thumbnail system they have is AWFUL. At this point, give Good Guy Bad Guy their own channel! It would be easier to follow and keep Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A from appearing on my feed to talk MMA!

There are very few people that deserve to fight for the BMF title. I think max just needs to sit on that for awhile until the right time and opponent presents itself.
