I agree with Phil. It's sad how people put more faith in a book that needs to be updated ever 5 or so years and can be proven wrong, but can't believe a book written over 2,000 years ago that only updates how it sends it's message to a changing world. Then people, who don't know what they are talking about want to fight it. They don't know what it says, never studied it, and want to argue it... It's like arguing black holes with Stephen Hawking, when you only heard about it once and never bothered to look up. It's just foolishness.

So if you are counting time by using B.C, / A.D. then you are most likely wrong. Also this method of dating was introduced in approx. 525 but was not commonly used until 800. So by using daffy ducks logic there was no 'proof' so Jesus's existence until the year 500. To paraphrase the Most Holy, His Eminence, the Learned Reverend Father Jack Hackett “Chair! [Camouflage]! Deists believe in God. Muslims believe in God. Mormons believe in God. Hindus believe in God ... ok gods. All believe this obliges us to certain things. Call them commandments if you will. And however they may say it, their beliefs align with Christ's, so they follow Christ. So, this whole 'deist' argument just doesn't hold water.

Really, folks, no government or person, no religious institution can save any man or woman from what his sin does to him ... including eternity separated as we are now, without the Lord who died to redeem us and, yes, a real hell. That is no joke, and I beg you to take God's Word seriously. God's Holy Spirit told the 40-some writers just what HE wanted them to write, so we could understand who GOD is, know what His plan throughout history is, to know Jesus Christ, His Son, the second Person of the Godhead, Who came to Earth in the flesh. Died, was buried, and rose again, and lives npw in Heaven. He promises eternal life in sinless Heaven and all we need 'do' is believe Him, Jesus/GOD, put our whole trust in Him alone. ALL of us. HE assured us, "There is no one righteous, no, not one.". They all are forgiveable. With sincerely, humbly, believing what HE said ... "Call on the namebofbthe ZLord God, your (our) Creator. No one will ever, ever, ever be sorry we did. We can only think, Why did I not believe sooner? HE will change your heart. Make you a "new person in Christ. We cannot ever do that. No self-help book nor psychiatrist can ever accomplish that. (His Holy Spirit will also help you, to understand His Word, what He wants so much for you to know of Him and His great, deep, wonderful love, in His Bible. It's not necessary for you to understand everything right now to be saved, forgiven, forever. (In fact, no one can, before receiving Him, calling on His wonderful Name.)
Mr Robertson knows this and wants to share this, the most critical thing anyone can ever be told. And again, more important than who becomes our President, our Congress.
It IS important we ask Him to forgive us and put our faith, our trust, in Him at the first possible minute, for no person can know when our last breath will be taken. Please, do not put it off another day.

The more we learn from science the more the Bible is confirmed. If you are interested in learning more about how science confirms the Bible, I recommend you read "The Science of God" by Gerald Schroeder. For example, he shows, using Einstein's Theory of Relativity, how the Genesis account of a six day creation lines up perfectly with scientific evidence that the earth is billions of years old.
