I was today years old when I realized when he says “all I hear are screams” he’s referencing the time he spent in the underworld, hear in his dead best friend, mother and crew all screaming their last thoughts. It also ties in to why he hears polities and his mother again because he’s thinking about the last things they “said” to him before he had to leave them in the underworld 😭😭
