- 17-year-old Elijah had gone through a lot: from being diagnosed with cancer to losing his father to the same illness, Elijah always connected with Michael Jordan's incredible career.
After being referred at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, Eljiah knew he wanted to meet his idol. Because of an incredible community of supporters, Elijah's wish journey was more than he could have ever imagined.
Thank you to #MichaelJordan, Nike, NBA, Charlotte Hornets, and Micheal Jordan's Steakhouse Downtown Chicago for making Elijah's dreams come true.

In early 1988, Michael Jordan made my brother, Brian’s, wish come true. Brian was very sick after relapsing with leukemia and he had a fever. Yet, I’ll never forget how he beamed as he sat next to his hero, Michael, the entire basketball game whenever Michael hit the bench. At the Chicago Stadium, MJ and Brian we’re together in the locker room before and after the game. MJ called Brian on our ride home in the stretch limo that he had provided for our whole family. What technology.... a phone IN A CAR! He generously gave Brian a pair of Air Jordans which he signed with love to my brother. We buried him in those shoes. Thank you, Michael, for the joy you gave my dear little brother.

Rest in peace to him 🕊️
Great gesture by MJ #MJGOAT
how can anyone dislike this video?
Elijah Godspeed to you!
That has to be the video with the fewest views, in which Michael Jordan actually appears and that is not just an old game.
Cool how MJ made it lowkey so they could just chill and talk.
I turned it on to see him dunk on a kid
Michael Jordan taking an hour out of his day for Make A Wish is pretty amazing. When you consider his net worth and how his time translates into his annual income. MJ is easily the most sought after sports figure for sales and marketing for him to give his time to this young man is really great to see. Just awesome stuff!
Any updates on Elijah?
