I totally LOVED the multi-media approach used. The Mix of flowers, metals, chameleon colors etc. What fun~! And a very pretty piece. I would absolutely wear that.
Enjoyed your tutorial.?.have a question.?could you use just regular micro powder and not use the black polish and used regular resin instead of uv ...I know you have to wait longer time for each layer...just curious.?.good job..I probably would use uv resin any way...thank you...God bless
@@carolynpitts2053 Absolutely you can. You just need to make sure that the resin has a little bit of transparency. If it doesn’t, it will not cure. Light has to be able to penetrate it. That is the reason why I use the black UV gel polish. It makes it so much easier to apply it and cure it. It’s all in preference. There is no wrong way. Trial and error. I hope this helps.
@@carolynpitts2053 yes you can use regular mica powder. It will not give the same effect as the chameleon powders. I use the black polish because it’s easier than making black resin. The polish is darker than uv resin with pigment. It takes more layers doing it with uv resin. It’s all about preference. You can use two part epoxy but I don’t think you will get the same result because your layers will be thicker. There is no wrong way. It’s really all about what works best for you. I hope this helps. God bless!!💕
@@shawnabelle2824 my hands are stained from pigments and wire work. I hate wearing gloves while doing my projects unless I’m working with epoxy resin. It’s not about aesthetics but content. I do these for sharing my passion not for any other reason. I’m sorry that my stained hands bothered you, but they will still be stained because I’m always working on new projects.

I’m sure I heard you mention it before but what is that while powder you’re using after you lay the chameleon flakes and power?
It’s also a chameleon powder, by let’s resin. The color is olive.
Where is your mold from?Could not find that info. Thanks. What is that wider pretty wire you use called to look for it?
@@terrynickel7285 I got the mold from Temu. Item number. KX55843

What is the best brand of UV resin?
@@jamievilleneuve1536
I like either Let’s Resin high viscosity, or JDiction high viscosity.
Maybe wash your hand before you do next video with hands
