I’ve only shopped in CEX a few times cause the stickers just take too much time to get off! It takes the fun out of buying their media! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and comment! 🙏
CeX are aware (higher ups) of the sticker issue, their response to someone who emailed them was "we are aware and looking into it" translation "we don't care". My local CeX throws away the cardboard slips for almost all their items because they know when they need to replace the stickers to update the price the sticker damages the slip. As for that oblivion the same thing happened to me so I immediately returned it and said most regular customers by for collections and this shite annoys us (my local CeX staff understands).
It’s so illogical that the higher ups don’t care but I totally believe it! I don’t blame the local shop staff at all as they’re just doing what they’re told. I just hope common sense prevails!
I feel your pain, the amount of times ive ranted to my wife about those bloody stickers! Also keep steelbooks behind the counter so they can't be damaged!
It’s like CEX use these stickers as a punishment for being their customer! Great point about the steelbooks! They treat them like there’s nothing special about them! It’s as if they don’t understand collectors at all!
Stickers are a joke I've tried everything to remove glue WD40 small amount dissolves glue quick with a gentle rub I picked up 6 movies and stickers came off easy .
I've spent too much time peeling these buggers off the cases.

My nearest cex is 30 minutes on a bus and the stickers are buggers and especially with the old Warner dvds
I think you should make a petition & send it to The Top Boss of CeX about the CeX stickers
That’s not a bad idea! I’ll look into it 👍
@@nicksmovietalk8659 No Problem
I wouldn’t even trust CEX to take out the rubbish.
😂🤣😂🤣😂
Soak area in paraffin. Gets it off no problems.
Best way to remove it is with perfume or water or melt the glue with a hairdryer
