Dragon age II is my favourite soundtrack out of the series because it's more memorable and harsh and fantastical and gut wrenching and emotional and all of that. Origins is more...cliche, fantasy like the LOTR but that's not a bad thing. Inquisition is defo more spooky and ominous but dragon age ii just...really captures the brutality that game exhibits

I made Anders hate me by accident because I didn't want my angsty wolf to be angry with me, so all side quest choices gained rivalry with Anders lmao My Hawke and Anders ended up hatefucking tho. Idk how romance works in this game, but it's awesome.

To be fair, "Slightly emotionally damaged foreigner" can be applied to a lot of LIs. Leliana? Orlesian-raised, Marjolaine. Alistair? Foreign mother, given away by his parents, then given to the dogs, and then the Chantry. Anders? Anders, solitary confinement and possession. Merrill? Dalish (possibly a Fereldan clan?), rejected by her clan. Isabela? Rivaini, sold by her mother into an arranged marriage with a man who treated her as his plaything. Blackwall? Marcher, low-key suicidal but too chicken to fall on his sword and loathes himself for it. Iron Bull? Par Vollen, has been "re-educated". Solas? Sorta-kinda-completely foreign, wasn't he a slave at some point in the distant past? IDK, I'm not an Eggmancer. I've probably even missed some here. I'm no expert. I've also avoided mentioning some stuff becase... spoilers, I guess.
I love the Dragon Age: Origin Love Theme so much that I had to just stop everything and let that music and the feelings that come with it wash over me.

She's the only of the three that doesn't go nuts and thinks doing horrible, extremly damaging and maybe genocidal things is a good thing if it's for a good cause.
Better late than never: Alistair made me smile for a moment and Zevran even made me chuckle, i hade a lot of fun with them both in their ways. Very entertaining. I so loved the additional wedding scenes in my modded game. my City elf rogue got married to a Grey Warden Alistair and my elven circle mage married Zevran :D Fenris, i musr admit, at first i picked him because no one else appealed to me. But then i was positively surprised. he has such a great development during the romance. it just hurt, to hear the last words of my Mage Lady Hawke in INquisition "Sorry Fenris". that was kinda shocking O_O Cullen! I never got around romancing anyone but him yet. But when i had the first talk in Haven with Cole and he said his piece about the templars, he added "But Cullen is softer". I was like "Damn he's right, Cullen is such a big softie." Welcome to the friendzone, Solas. Cullen is so awkwardly sweet, even my Dalish elf Mage married him before someone else would

Oh my god I cried a little. My heart just broke a little thinking back to Zevran and Fenris. I don't care for anyone in Inquisition but the theme is beautiful too.
Now that Veilguard is out my absolute fav romance is Neve, my amazing detective, she's also my fav companion in the game, following her as fav companions are Bellara, Emmrich & Taash!! In Inquisition my fav romance is Solas but behind that all tied for 2nd is Cassandra, Cullen (always with a female mage Trevelyan) & Josephine, Dorian is my very best friend always!! In DA2 my fav romances are Fenris, Isabela & Merrill. In Origins my fav romance is Leliana followed closely by Alistair, i wish Morrigan could be romanced by a female Warden/Hero but she became my very best friend & will 4ever be 1 of my very fav characters in Dragon Age!!!

I had a triangle with Leliana (even got to bed her) but I eventually went for Morrigan, despite (or perhaps right because of it) my character being super-righteous and friendly with anyone. Wish their rivalry for who eventually had her way with me was still at least referenced in the third chapter. DA2: Romance with Isabella, Mage Male Hawke. I was romancing Merrill first, but when she popped up that "I LOVE YOU HAWKE" I couldn't just go "Oh sure, love ya too babe! Come live here!", considering he had a sarcastic personality. I think the romance with Isabella was decent, even though I didn't really got into it, since the game was overall... Meh DAI: Female Archer Elven Inquisitor with Cullen. Finally a Love Story which ended up well, with a final perfect marriage! My character started wanting so badly to go back to her previous life and ended up getting attached to the Inquisition, despite not being Andrastean. Ended up disbanding it though, since I wanted her to live her life in relative peace with her husband. Top Favourite Romances in Dragon Age I have done with my main characters: #1 Ethelwold Cousland and Morrigan #2 Ellana Lethalan and Cullen #3 Horace Hawke and Isabella I hope there will be a real conclusion to the Warden and Morrigan's romance, or at least that they'll manage to meet again after his quest for the Calling.
