This is a fantastic guide. This is the o lyrics guide I've seen that actually tells when the special attack happens. My biggest hurdle with this boss is the movement and avoiding special attacks. The tick walking breakdown is also just perfection. Fantastic guide. I will be trying this boss again my next task.

Agree totally with the Defense draining over DPS Spec! I've found BGS on Crush (cuz I use a bludgeon so I prefer the 2 hand spec weapon) hits probably 60% of the time too and when it does it seems to whack a 60+ hit also.

Spawn Point: 2404 and5985 NPC ID: 13673 Disable the melee distance by clicking the "eye" Interaction Range: 3 For the npc indicators plugin I just am highlighting the "tile" and "south west true tile". The color is #FF151515 and the fill color is: #38928e93
You're better off procing the red spider on red rotation on the first white egg, then finishing it off. That way you spawn a 2nd red and massively boost your dps against the boss.
I'm using a heavy ballista, Ava's assembler and dragon javelins at 99 range with rigour. Why can't I one-shot the white spider? There's always a little HP left!
Have to be fully potted as well. As your range pot degrades you’ll do less damage and the spider will be alive still. I don’t sweat it too much as the next attack you do to araxxor will kill it usually.
What's your keyboard set-up? Are you using F4 & Shift Keys? I don't feel like I can have my hand ready for hitting shift & F-Keys unless I'm missing something....
I have shift bound to one of my mouse keys. I use a combo of the RuneScape settings and the plugin “key remapping” to remap my fkeys to Q and E for prayer and inventory respectively. Finally I use a ctrl+left click to walk if my run is on and vice versa
You may need to check the actual plugin settings to make sure you have the options available. Try playing with the settings on Varrock guards to get a feel for how it works and the settings you want. Then just change the NPC id to araxxor.

I'm trying to figure out why I'm not killing the araxytes in one hit. I have 99 ranged, I'm using a heavy ballista, dragon javelins and ava's with a divine ranged pot. the most I ever hit is 56.
Probably regular anti venom’s and a few anti poisons 2 sips cures venom. once the venom starts hitting you for like 15’s I’d take the anti poison. You’ll get venomed again immediately but it won’t be as severe. It will definitely cut into trip lengths though.
@@iamNairobi my only other thought it bringing more gear swaps to increase your range max hit. Personally if your doing > 55 damage I just switch back to attacking araxxor your next few hits will kill the mirror back anyway.
Bludgeon works great there, its what i've been usin, and hell even hasta is alright. Scythe felt like it wasn't getin much love for a bit but recent updates helped it feel up to snuff with the other megarares.
Agreed. Although I can't complain with the love they've been giving the Scythe recently! Its now back in line with the other mega rares imo. I did a full kill with a d-mace as well and it got the job done!
@@ZeroPhilosopher sounds like a broke take. bludgeon is a weapon unlocked from a lvl 85 slayer boss, scythe is a mega rare from a relatively difficult raid.
As someone with 500+ KC, I actually now prefer Soulreaper with torture & blood fury. Saves SO much money in charges, swap to blood fury ONLY when you need to heal, otherwise use torture. 8 kill trips, more if you get supply drops.

Right click and tag araxxor with the NPC indicators plugin enabled. More info in the description

Think it’s worth grinding out Ballista for the boss? No monkey tail in 2.5k kc. Really didn’t wanna go back there ever.
Just use hunter crossbow. Takes 2 shots to down the spider but it’ll get the job done.

Your Max hit may not be high enough. I was using rigor, dragon javelins, and was potted with a range potion.

The Ruptura (Red Spider) ALSO does that little twitch thing when he's in explosion mode. That's what I use as my indicated to GTFO of the way! 😂😂
