e20d is louder with more sustain. e8d is a little mellower, both sound great. adirondack is going to take longer to break in I have a 10 year old e10d with adirondack top that sounds fantastic.
Eastman builds some some great guitars 🎸, I have a Eastman E20 D-TC, it is one of the best sounding guitars I have played, recently purchased Eastman E10SS, sunburst, it is Beautiful, plays and sounds amazing, the action on these guitars is perfect, I buy guitars for the pleasure of playing, buy a guitar that you're happy with, I think that's what we all look for overall.
Very good and interessant comparison.... about these guitars with back and sides in rosewood, but with a different spruce top, I prefear the E8D, with Sitka Spruce. I find the sound more robust and woody... ;-)
Listening through ear phones through an iPhone I can’t tell the difference. One comment said longer sustain on the D20. I think the video is fooling you. Shuffling back he cuts off the mic little earlier at the end of the first sample and allows it to go longer at the end of the sample. Would love the hear them live but based on this not sure if it’s worth the extra money for the Ack Spruce.

I have a 4 year old one and every year it opens a little more. Good to hear someone with a 10 year old one enjoys theirs.
Thanks for doing these quality demos

Is the vid reversed
Hi. No the video is not reversed. I know for a fact that the E8D had the streakier headstock. The title is reversed
@@woodstockschoolofmusic4191 I think the question was asking if you are left handed.
The logo on the headstock is your answer.
The player is gauche...lol (French for lefty).
nice guitars but for half the price you can get an addy top all solid recording king. also made in china.
They feel like half the price though..
