It is a well made bag. I opted for the Badlands Superday for all around and switch between that and my Monster Fanny. For a smaller option I recent picked up the Badlands Switch and really like its size/modular flexibility. For uber quiet I use the Sitka Fanatic. No affiliation with Badlands.
I have the 1200, great pack for early season stand hunting. I find the 1200 does not need a belt for me anyways. I'm looking at the 1500 for later in the season and to double as a gym pack. Good review. Thank you.
I’m right there with you as far as having a pack addiction. I decided on the exo k4 for a elk bag. The badlands super day for whitetail. Looking hard at the kuiu divide 1500 for an edc/work bag. My plan is to take the waist belt off for work but can add it back for scouting or hiking. Thoughts? Planning on putting a laptop in the water bladder compartment. Thanks!
It would certainly work, although in my experience, taking off that belt is a real pain. I’m a huge fan of badlands maybe check out their switch pack looks like an excellent day pack that has a modular accessories. I really like their monster fanny as well, but you might look a little funky for EDC!
I ended up with the badlands super day and I’m super happy. On the kuiu there were no closures on the side/water bottle pockets to speak of if you are referring to a different section of the backpack I might remember but I sent them back.
Looking at a divide bag as an early season/utility bag. Already have a Metcalf 50 and a pop up 30.

Glad it was helpful. You might want to check this out, too, it became my favorite: ruclips.net/video/EtmskEapQd0/видео.html

@@valhallaoutfitter I appreciate it brotha!
Great review! Is the hip belt on the 1500 held by a twist cam or velcro, or is it just pulled straight out?
I think it was Velcroed. Kind of good news. Bad news… It was incredibly difficult to get out/put in but on the flipside it won’t go anywhere on you.
@@valhallaoutfitter Tks for the clue!
No Velcro or hook and loop in the Divide? Thanks
