They are all so good looking at this level. But if you can be there to look at the xrays and other things that you cant know by just having access to your phone, experience with the bloodlines your looking at, you have a huge advantage over other bidders.
If you took away the "books" and catalogues, had the horses IDed just by hip number, had neutral personnel lead out horses for inspection and sale, where the "experts" had to just look at the physical horse and determine if it was designed to be fast, durable and sound - they would be totally lost. They are totally lost anyway - as the number of million dollar babies you never hear of again goes to prove.
