NGL, this video itself has become sort of nostalgic to me. It helped to kickstart my obsession with logos, while also triggering my nostalgia for some of these clips.
I remembered seeing this logo on the videos of Mickey's Christmas Carol, Willie the Operatic Whale, Donald in Mathmagicland, and Mickey's Magical World.
I definitely remember the first two logos from the eighties. The first logo was from the Pete's Dragon videotape that I watched in 1982 and the second logo was from my Pinocchio videotape that I got as a Christmas present in 1985.

Budar Endario they started using the Masterpiece Collection logo in 1994 with Snow White and ended the collection in 1999. I also noticed that the Walt Disney Classics logo (not The Classics Walt Disney Home Video logo, I'm talking about the one that also used the Sorcerer Mickey) is missing from your list.

@@gochem3013 Uh...no, he is 100% correct. The 2nd one at 0:14 (1983 logo) and the 3rd one at 0:26 (1986 logo) were used way more during the 1980s from 1983-1992. Compare that to the 4th logo at 0:41 (1988 logo), which was only used for about a year and a half from late '88 until about 1990 and wasn't even that common, either.

Disney started using the Buena Vista name for their film company in the early 1950s. The area at WDW (city and lake) was named after the film studio in the very late 1960s as an homage to that. And then the home video company was basically just named after the film studio in the late 1970s. So basically the home video was just continuing the name of the film studio. So basically the street in CA came first. Then Disney named his film studio after that. Then WDW's area was named and finally the home video division was named after the film company.

I find the Mini Classics theme very underrated. It sounded like the 80's theme for heaven.
