Personally the tech 3 runs big I bought them when I was a size 10.5 so I got an 11 cause they felt pretty big I now wear a 12.5 and some shoes a 13 and now they fit perfect but I’d recommend going to a shop and trying them on before you order
How do you buy replacement straps? I broke my top strap on my tech 3’s and I can only find tech 10 replacement straps and tech 1 straps I looked all over your guys site and I can’t find them
They're pretty dang similar. For a novice/beginner rider, the tech 3 is a great boot. Other than the Tech 5 having 4 buckles vs 3, there aren't too many differences. - Chase
Im 5’10, athletic build, and size 11.5 in shoes, also I have softball sized calves. I tried on a 12 and it was ok in the foot area but too tight above my ankles. Maybe this info could help someone similar in my situation at sizing these boots.
They come full white? My local shop only have in my size the tech3 in white color, but when i search for them online i only see them in other colors but no in full white.
No, unfortunately the Tech 3's do not come in all white. You can check out this page to see available colors: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/riding-gear/alpinestars-tech-3-boots-p
I have a older pair of Tech 3, I like them a lot, just not very waterproof, and takes days to dry out! My last adventure ended up in a deep water hole...I should look at getting a new back up pair while mine dry out...lol do they come in all white?
Plastic piece of crap, don t expect to keep it for 10 even if not used the plastic will self destroy. The old school leather Tech 4 from 2003 is still alive.
Love them but I just had a strap rip off after only about 6 rides. Just in the process of claiming warranty however I’m not confident they will come to the party. I hope so as I was literally telling all my mates how happy I was with them.
@@shaggy8226 where the plastic strap attaches to the boot is where it broke away. Keep an eye on this point. It was the middle strap and not the buckle. The Alpinestar rep had a look at the pictures I sent and warranted it straight away so no complaints there. I ended up upgrading to tech 7’s and they are amazing however they are no more comfortable than the tech 3’s which were the best boots I’ve owned besides the breakage.
Great boots 🥾, no break in required 🥇
Can you use these boots for Adventure Bike? Ie, is the walking on these ok?

same to me , one size up actually fits more better!
How much better are the tech 5?
How do you buy replacement straps? I broke my top strap on my tech 3’s and I can only find tech 10 replacement straps and tech 1 straps I looked all over your guys site and I can’t find them
all the same
Would it be worth $70 more to get the tech 5’s?

I need the size 43, 9 boss but in your choices there’s no 9’s, red/white/black

I been lookin at these i wear size 10 in most shoes i do own some shoes in size 10.5 what size for these boots
I would go 11. Better safe than sorry
That is hard to say. They run pretty true to size. I'd try 11 first and use our fit guarantee if you need a different size. - Chase
I were a size 9 in tennis shoes but 11 in moto boots
I wear 10 and went 11 they fit almost snug
This boots has an shoe inside?
NO. There is no inner boot inside.
Would you choose these, or the 2023 Fox comp's?
I would get the Fox Comp if it were my decision - Chase
Hi. Do ship to India as well?

Black and White
Buy a boot dryer.....
I have average-sized calves, will these fit with knee guards?
Yeah, you should be fine.
The tech 3 had protection like a hard socks...
Just pay a little bit more and get the tech 7 or sg 10
7 is softer? I am using the 3 , yes right , it like a hard socks 😂😂👍
I whear 10.5 witch would be better a 10 or 11
I would probably size up.
@@rmatvmc thank you so very much that helps me out a lot..
Can you replace the plastic buckles with metal ones from the Tech 5?
S
yes you can, exact same as the tech 5 and tech 7 and 10 as well.
thx!
Why do I still have run this boot if I’m not a beginner anymore
Chase who won the giveaway last week? Backpack?
I'll have to ask Shane. He is who selects the winners each month.
Are these waterproof?
They aren't considered waterproof but there is a gaitor that helps keep out water.
Squeaky moon boots. More feeling in a frozen pizza 😂
Did alpinestar discontinue the tech8?
No, we still have the tech 8 RS!
I bought these to wear when riding my sport bike. I honestly can't even shift up if I'm wearing them. Anyone else experience this?
they're motocross boots man.
These things are squeaky asf
Yep a major disappointment. No feel in the toe. Freaking moon boots
@@robertearley3459 I actually really like them once they've broken in they are nice

Did the strap unglue from the boot ?
@@shaggy8226 no. The boot actually ripped/tore.
