I haven't managed to crochet anything ever because the magic circle totally baffled me! Thank you so much for clear and easy to follow instructions ❤
One day, you’ll just ‘get it’. Look for videos that go through it. I finally got it when I watched ‘Rose and Lily Crochet’ - ‘How to crochet a magic ring in plush yarn’
I used to be bamboozled by magic rings and inserting single crochets without it looking horrendous, but turns out that it was because of my 5.00mm hook and super thin yarn, and once i transitioned to thicker yarn and a 4.25mm hook, it was much easier and clearer to see the single crochets.
Take one method only and practice that. MC can be made using various methods, that makes it way more confusing. Master one method and stick to that!!!
I love this pattern, it was definitely my best seller at my last market!! Congratulations on joining RUclips ❤
Thank you so much!!
@CableandCanvas I'm a beginner. This was really confusing. Can you do it slowly because l want to make one for my mum? It is okay if you don't l won't mind😊
@@R1NYK0 Go to 'Settings' and there you can slow down the speed of the video. 😉
@@R1NYK0you can just slow down the speed of the video on the video settings (top right) if you make it 0,75 or 0,5 speed it might be fine for you. I also recommend writing down the pattern she displays in the video and getting to know what it means so they help you as well and you can use it, if you’d like to make another mushroom.

P.S. they may seen expensive but that’s because they come prestarted, with the lesson, AND enough yarn to make two! happy to help 😊
This is such a great tutorial, and I’m so proud of my self! Such an easy follow-along, and would definitely recommend👍❤️❤️

I love these SO MUCH. I made two so far. I cannot stop playing with them. They’re the perfect little fidget guys. Thanks so much for the pattern!
I love this material. Please make more of them. I would love it if you could make more little mini animals.
The discription says: This is not a beginner tutorial! You must already have a basic understanding of amigurumi and crocheting in the round. This tutorial accompanies my written pattern, the Itt
I have made two now. Same hook, same exact yarn, good tension. Mine do not pop in and out like hers do. I cannot figure out why. They are not firm enough.
I WISH I COULD POST PICTURES HERE !!! I made it out of suede yarn.
Now that I know my first pattern I can help out with my mom's craft fair! Thank you so much.❤😊
The first part took like an hour but the rest was pretty easy besides a few mistakes, it took me like 3 hours 😂 don’t give up to easily ❤❤❤
Such an amazing pattern! And awesome to now have a video tutorial!!!
Thank you so much! 💕
Can you do this with regular yarn for this i don't have fluffy yarn.
Edit my fluffy yarn came this week and I am having difficulty with it might be too chunky well see how it goes further on. I don't think it's going to be an itty bitty mushroom. Also this is my first time using this yarn so interesting experience.
Think you so very much for the mushroom crochet ❣️
Ngl you should delete the comments that give your pattern away for free
Then you dont get views because they wont watch the vid for a certain amount of time and your pattern wont sell
What song are you singing? -oh this song is so stuck in my head ..it goes 🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻
Btw.. TYSM FOR THE TUT!!!! I finally have the mushie pop!!!!
Wish you would have the instructions on the screen. When you go to fast don’t have time enough to make the stitches before you go to next row. Like pattern very much . Thinking about making a lot and donating to an orphanage that is not far from me.
you can slow the video down or pause it.
Almost every crochet tutorial I’ve come across has at least one person who comments the pattern, try looking for those
hello! this is an amazing pattern! i do recommend changing one thing in the pattern. in row 13, change the inc to sc, and then add an extra row after that to do the inc. it minimizes holes because you are not increasing in the FLO
6sc flo and then 6x inc flo or normally?
The way I read the pattern (and how I did it) the FLO is only for one round.
In the same way the earlier BLO is just one round. Afterwards back to SC.
It helps "pop" the mushroom cap much better than other patterns.
That helps tremendously I couldn’t get 12 stitches out of just the increase so this helps so much. Thanks lol😂❤
This was very helpful was really struggling with this area! Because I had such big holes
@@ByKelly2regular not flo
i am stuck at the magic ring as well because when i pull the yarn it doesnt close it just tears up ):
this kind of yarn is so hard to deal with :\ but so pretty and soft
anyway will keep trying and hope i get it :> thx for the guide
It happened to me too but I made a fake magic ring ,You can make a fake magic ring search it on RUclips youll get to know also if you need i can tell u how to make it first
1. Chain 3
2. Slip stich into the very first chain
3. You see there would be a hole in between do 6 single crochet in between and when you are done with your first you should place a marker or a bobby pin to mark the first single crochet chain and do 5 more single crochet 😊
RIP My FINGERSSS 🙏
This tutorial is really good but I used the wrong type of yarn and I'm a beginner so I was doing everything wrong so mine turned out bad and it took me all day
Anyone else super proud that they acctually had the correct amount of stiches???
Anyone.....
Yea
nope- i messed up the count for rows-4-7
I had a little trouble to be honest and I kept losing count. (I wasn’t even on the body part of the mushroom yet😢) but I’m surprised it actually looks…decent for someone like me to make it
Yea me too
You should get a stitch marker!! It’s very helpful so you don’t have to count the stitches!
I going to start crochet soon, is this a good first project? If not anyone have recommendations?
Hi there! While this tutorial is fairly simple if you already know how to crochet, I don't necessarily teach you how to crochet in it so I may not start here. I would actually recommend starting with one of All From Jade's "Beginner Tutorials," they are very thorough and she even has her own small mushroom pattern on there as well! 💕
Honey, this was the best tutorial ever. I’m a complete beginner like I basically just started crocheting not too long ago and I’m obsessed with this and it worked and it’s super cute. I didn’t have a little spots or safety eyes, but it’s still adorable and it works amazingly it was so explained and I am so obsessed. Thank you so much for making this video, I subscribed😂
Thank you so much , thanks to you I made my first mushy pop . I love it , it is just so darn cute. The directions were very clear. Heck Yes!!! I would love for you to make more tutorials!!!! ❤ Have a wonderful weekend !!
Can't wait to make this cutie. Thanks for sharing! 🌼
Thank you so much, I hope you have fun making your own Mushie Pop! 🥰💕
Soooo cute! Thank you so much for this video. I’m new to amigirumi and this makes it seem so much easier

@@mr_master4000 thanks ❤
Will this tutorial still work with thinner non- fluffy yarn? I really want to make it but I don't have fluffy yarn right now.😢
Yes, it will! It especially looks great with worsted weight acrylic or cotton yarn - just remember to size down your hook (I use a 3 or 3.5 mm with size 4 acrylic depending on brand) and keep in mind that it will be even more "itty bitty" than shown here! 😆
Leftie video please?
can you please give me the diagrams?
Thank you so much for making this tutorial it is very easy to follow and I will make very many little mushroom friends. (The background music is very nice and relaxing by the way)
Thank you so much for the tutorial! Its cute and you were very easy to understand. I like how you don't cut the video and go ahead of us. I don't mind when they do, but its a bice touch. I don't feel like they zoomed ahead of me and I am turtle slow. Lol the popping thing is cool. I n 28:47 eed to practice my tension, I am firever too tight. But my 1st is good. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I can't wait to show my best friend this. Any chance you still have what music you used for the soundtrack?
Thank you! Love this pattern, video was really easy to follow. Love my mushie pops!! ❤
I struggled at this but I may have been because of the yarn I was using, and I have no idea what brand it is but I used two separate types. One was the blue velvet like a velvet blanket that’s all shiny, and the other was some basic yarn that was the kinda scratchy kind used for stuff with the texture of an ugly sweater from Walmart.
I loved your video and this is the first time using posh yarn (plush). Thank you Please make more tutorials.
I love the tutorial
For beginners (as a beginner myself this is what is saving me lol):
1) Make a new playlist for crochet and go for a youtube search for videos on crochet basics. When you find a video that makes sense to you save that video to your playlist!
- Magic Circle
- Single Crochet (SC)
- Double Crochet (DC)
- Half Double Crochet (HDC)
- Triple or Treble Crochet (TC)
- Slip Stitch (SSt)
- Increases, decreases, invisible decrease, BLO (Back loop only), etc.
- many more I can't remember lol
- Joining two yarns/colors (for this one I recommend taking scraps and practing until comfortable. You will develop your own little tricks to make this work.)
- At least one video for absolute beginners about holding your crochet hook, tension, types of yarn, how to choose your weight of thread and size of hook and how that will affect your work and also about stuffing.
2) Have patience and practice! If you take the time to get a beginner yarn (one that works up easily and smoothly, is super easy to see the stitches, and you don't have to struggle to find the next stitch or get your hook through.) and watch your videos and just try each stitch for 50-100 stitches, practice yarning over to a new row, etc.
3) Keep these video handy during tutorials and pause and check your work.
4) don't stress if you have to frog (undo your work). Everyone does, even advanced crocheters!
5)take breaks and have fun! It's meant to be relaxing ❤
I can't believe it! It was soo easy to follow this tutorial from you! I love my little mushroom! Yaaay and thank you for doing this tutorial( • ̀ω•́ )✧
Thank you! These are so fun!
Ever since I started crocheting I have never been able to make anything that looked good but the way you teach is so clear and it makes it so easy please continue doing what you do and if I ever need any help I look at your videos 😊
For those struggling, I highly recommend learning the difference between back loop and front loop. Also know how to change color yarn. There are some fun projects for that like a bee maybe!
This pattern is so easy and so so cute! But that safety eyes tool! Where is that from? It's so smart
Thank you! It wasn't working great in the video (thanks to my nerves lol!) but it is really wonderful and a life-saver most of the time - especially for glitter eyes! I got it from GurumiSupply's Etsy shop! She has tons of different kinds but here's the one I have: www.etsy.com/listing/1327773382/safety-eye-gismo-triangle-shape-safety?ref=yr_purchases

So cute! Very clear instructions, thank you!
Is mine the only one that isn’t popping
its not meant to pop just go up and down
I’m struggling to understand this music y it’s there at all n y does it have a dude softly clearing his throat over n over???
i did it!!! all i had was a mint color and a pastel yellow so my lil guy looks like one of those +1 mushrooms in super mario bros haha
i screwed up with mine a little but i like it! no mushroom is perfect and all it is, is just the mushroom cap sits unevenly on the stem so now it just looks like my lil guy is wearing a hat! i also somehow figured out how to close it at the end without using a needle??? i actually managed to do this whole thing without a needle lol
I did one with fluffier wool so it turned out bigger ,it wasn’t as satisfying as the small ones but still really cute xx
What yarn are you using???
She says it at the beginning of the video
