One day, you’ll just ‘get it’. Look for videos that go through it. I finally got it when I watched ‘Rose and Lily Crochet’ - ‘How to crochet a magic ring in plush yarn’
I used to be bamboozled by magic rings and inserting single crochets without it looking horrendous, but turns out that it was because of my 5.00mm hook and super thin yarn, and once i transitioned to thicker yarn and a 4.25mm hook, it was much easier and clearer to see the single crochets.
This is the first thing I've ever completed as a beginner! I find a lot of tutorials are hard to folow or go way too fast so thank you for keeping it easy and understandable to newbies like me!
