Since I started to be interested in modding hitboxes and fighting games i always wondered why there wasnt the “arcade stick mod person” on youtube and it seemed like there was a gap for you to just slide into. Keep it up, love the content
I really appreciate your comment! There are a few other arcade stick dudes, but hopefully I can fill a void and have enough to say I can put my own spin on things. Thanks for your support!
Loved this video! Got into SF6 and i have some fundamentals since years ago there was a couple arcades in my city but damn the terms hahaha good shit dude
lol, I know, it's like you have to do homework to understand all the lingo. The first time I heard some of these, I was scratching my head too. Glad it helped you and thanks for watching!
Ha, good eye! Whenever I think dragon punch, I think of old Trogdor with his one big, beefy arm. Thanks for watching and your support! I appreciate it, dude!
Nice video, but if I may, I tought that meaty was also for hiting in the last active frame (even if the two are standing). Okizime is your game when your opponent is on the ground. It's more significant with games like Tekken or Soul Calibur where you can still (be) hit on ground. Thanks for the tilt tip 🙂
Good call and I've seen meaty used for both and Infil's fighting game glossary site actually has two definitions. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
A man of culture, I see! As far as which character speaks to me the most in the new game, none right now TBH. I'm still excited for 6, but won't be the same without my boy. I have seen some other Vega mains suggest a switch to Lily for some longer normals with her weapons plus some similar moves to sky high claw, but IDK. Chun has a stance (sort of like SFV Vega, maybe) and some pokey ground game. I think I'll go maybe Ed or AKI depending on how they play when they release in the first season of DLC. Or maybe I'll play a completely different archetype just to help round out my gameplay while I wait for a potential Vega drop down the line. I don't know how likely that is, but I've got my fingers crossed. *shrugs* Who do you have your eye on?
@@HushMySweet1 sfv is the first time I played vega cuz Honda wasn’t available on the main roster. Fell in love with the pokes and I think maybe the walk speed. I’ll be trying out Honda and jp. I think jp has some nice poking tools but missing the walk speed. I see many mention lily but she doesn’t seem anything like vega imo
Neutral is any time your character is not blocking, being hit, or knocked down (even if you're point blank), and your character is able to take any action. Oftentimes you are trying to figure out the best way to start or continue your gameplan in the neutral. Hope that helps.

Glad you watched and found it helpful! Good luck in SF6!

PREACH THE GOSSPIL HUSH!!!
Lol, I'm trying to spread the good word of fighting games. I appreciate you! Thanks for all your support!
Trogdor spotted! Great video again, very useful.

Thanks, I thought dp was down punch
Glad it helped ya. Usually when people are notating SF combos, they will write cr.MP or whatever, using the (cr.) to denote crouching.
A fellow vega player. What character on the sf6 roster has got your eye? What character do you think will play most like vega in archetype

Background music too high
Yeah, I had more missteps in earlier videos. Still, I hope the content was valuable and you got what you were looking for. Best of luck in SF6!
what is neutral game? You are explaining terms things and using unknown terms to explain them...
