Great video, we are new to the channel and you have given us the inspiration to try pub stop stopovers. We were wondering is there an etiquette for how long to stay, is there say an acceptable arrival and departure time ?
What a small world, I’m guessing your from Towester . I’m from Moulton. But I live full time in my van, and have stayed in Norfolk past 18 months. I keep seeing you in Norfolk on videos.
Hi Richard We live down the road from Moulton. Hope you are enjoying full time van life, envious. Glad you found our channel we hope your a subscriber now ( Neighbour) keep safe and thanks for commenting
Hi David, Hope you've subscribed my friend, thank you so much for your nice comment, and welcome fellow traveller! We will try anything and we also like the supermarket carparks too, often flatter than any campsite, strange but true, again thanks and do like when you can, Tracey & Vinnie x
Enjoyed your video. I live in Fakenham, so it was good to see some local sights. Did you make it to the beach at Wells - it's one of the best and my happy place to walk my dog, hope to see you back in Norfolk again sometime.
Hi sorry for the late reply, no we didn’t get to wells beach the car park featured didn’t take Apple Pay only cash! Of which we didn’t have any on us and the parking bays were just too small for VanDolph so headed out of the area, gutted to be fair so happy to know it’s your happy place we feel the same about getting into the van and travelling seeing new and exciting places, thank you so much for watching us we will be back to Norfolk soon as we love it there and it’s close to northampton for a seaside, keep walking the dog on the beach your so lucky 🫶
@@Travellingtravins no worries, it must be difficult to keep up with replying to stuff. The Beach car park at Wells, is contactless, not sure about Apple Pay, but it should work. There are some larger spaces further up, but if you come back, the best car park would be further out of Wells, Lady Anne's Drive and you can still access Holkham Beach. Before moving here I lived in Hanslope (Bucks) between MK and Northampton, know N'Hampton quite well. Watched you video of Billing Aquadrome, blimey what a difference....
Great video it has certainly given us the inspiration to try pub stop overs. We were wondering is there an etiquette for how long to stay at a pub stop over, is there a typical arrival and departure time that is generally accepted ?
Hi. Thanks for watching. Most places state 1 night max however if you are drinking or eating I am sure they will welcome you to stay longer. We arrive anytime and sometimes we call them in advance and other times we just rock up. The pub trade is crying out for us. We have just stated in a pub car park in Stratford upon Avon town centre and it was perfect. Happy travels, watch out ither Brit stop video as we found a corker of a place. Btw, no one asks for proof of Britstop. Pubs are also available on search for sites app. Happy travels and keep watching 👀
@@Travellingtravins thanks, if simply en route we would have a meal, bed and would be gone in the morning. However, if there was something to see close to the stopover we would want to be there longer in the day so was concerned that it may be an issue for the pub if we were taking up a parking space
I don't need to spend my life watching two people eating a meal in a campervan in a pub car park. She is sort of OK, he is a beer and food guzzler, so I am off. No info so far on their jaunt around Norfolk, which is my home. Goodbye
Hi David, your comment made both of us laugh, thank you for putting a smile on our faces. I am glad that you find me sort of ok. Take care travelling travins
