- Follow me on my 6 months journey through South Africa. This video is about my third day in Kruger National Park. We're driving from Lower Sabie towards Crocodile bridge in search for big cats. This morning we've already seen some lions and we're now on the lookout for leopards

I’m wondering if you could use a small “airplane” (fixed wing) drone with infrared cameras to search for leopards. It would probably be expensive, but you might find some really nice photo opportunities.
You could always ask for donations to help you buy a good drone, or maybe a drone maker would donate one (who knows?). I think a high priority would be that the drone would be as quiet as possible, so the animals aren’t scared of it. My understanding is that fixed wing drones can travel farther on a charge.
You would get some great scenery shots at the very least. Just an idea…
