I love your reactions to this fab series, young sir. A highlight of the week for me! Thank you ever so much and I hope you continue to enjoy the journey paved with gold that lies ahead of you!
Great reaction as always. I’m glad you are enjoying the series. Ned is Scottish slang for a young person who acts in a very rude and sometimes violent or criminal way. Xx
Tunnocks tea cakes are so morish i can eat 4 in one sitting ...delicious biscuit with soft creamy mallow covered in milk chockolate alsi available in plain chocolate mmmmm a must for you to try
The Film NED's is about Scottish life as a young lad growing up in gang life and drugs its a totally a Scottish word you might be thinking of the American word as in NERD With an R* in it to mean Geek NED is 100% Scottish
@@Proud_Bhoys Yes, you’re right, but my point is (I obviously didn’t make it clear enough) that although it originated in Scotland it has since been embraced *generally* in the UK. There are obviously, like *many other* words and acronyms, areas and individuals unfamiliar with the term. 🤷🏻♂️ By the way, the film is NEDS, not NED’S.
That's why I like rich tea, you can dunk it more than digestives or I wouldn't get them, I go through half a cup just dunking, why I often have a 2L cup now, when had 500ml cup I kept having half a drink but often drink two of them for a while
Well you'll need a time machine or mibbi if you were listen to Jack and Victor when they were in visiting old Ronnie they tell you what happens to the Bismarck it was sunk in ww2 of the coast Atlantic Ocean ......keep up there a thing called Internet try Google

Get some tea cakes if you can, you will not regret it!
Winston goes straight to the pub after being mauled by a dog. Legend!
The song is “hurdy gurdy gurdy, the windae boxes” no clue what it is 😅
Ned - Non Educated Delinquent x
The 2 guys with the devil dug are Neds...English equivalent is a Chav.

On a similar theme, my sister lost the grand final of 15 to 1 with a question about Sir Walter Scott 😧
Tea cakes are delicious
Never heard of "NED"...? NED = "Non-educated delinquent".
It's not just a Scottish terminology.
There's a 2010 cult film called "NEDS" as well.
I knew the Scottish term 'ned' but I had no idea it was an acronym. Thank you :-)
I learnt ned from this show but just learnt what it stood for

NO, I *was not* mixing it up with ‘NERD’. Ridiculous and patronising accusation!
Tam's selfish, yes, but like most people... not *all* bad. He has a humane side.
