- Man, it's been forever since I've made an animation meme-
This was a birthday gift for Charlemagne1, and a tribute for her story the Modern Reanimator, which is a Frankenstein and Lovecraft crossover I had the pleasure of betareading! I was allowed to upload it afterwards, so here it is, I hope you guys like it!
(Btw I will be making a community post at some point to give y'all some updates, but for the mean time please take a look at Char's work!)

So, if I'm understanding this correctly, The Modern Reanimator is about this man who is a Lovecraftian being created by a scientist/occultist, and he is in love with his creator and vice versa. Meanwhile, the scientist is in a romantic relationship with a woman named Elizabeth, thus making their "relationship" a secret/strained due to the story's time period. These tortured feelings are then channeled through Cthulhu or one the Elder Gods in order to unleash insanity and abominable horrors onto mankind.
...am I close?

I won’t confirm or deny your theory, but the story is an unofficial prequel to my Frankenstein/Lovecraft novella Ask of the Lesser (currently on A03 if you're curious), centering on Victor Frankenstein and Joseph Curwen’s college days at Ingolstadt before their split and Ernest stumbling into its aftermath.
Won't confirm anything either for obvious reasons, but it's so interesting to read theories made from this video alone! Char's sequel to the Modern Reanimator which is already published online will give you a better idea of what the story will be about if you're already interested~
