Elevate sold very less despite being a great machine! Priced okay at 15 to 20. Could be more competitive. It's an all-rounder - reliable, decent mileage, strong and will age well. Missing essentials: Front parking sensor, 360 reverse cam, 6 air bags standard, ventilated seats, silent cabin. What is its actual user mileage? What is the safety rating and crash test result?
I'm currently deliberating between the New Creta and the Elevate for my next car purchase. My budget falls within the range of 18L-19L. My daily commute primarily consists of approximately 80km within city limits, and I go on highway drives around 8-10 times a year. Safety and mileage are top priorities for me. After evaluating various options, I've narrowed down my choices to these two cars. However, I'm facing a dilemma. With my budget, I can afford the Top CVT model of the Elevate, while with the Creta, I can only get the 2nd top model. Although the Elevate lacks some features offered by the Creta, Honda is renowned for its engine performance and reliability. Moreover, I plan to keep this car for more than 10 years, so factors such as service cost and spare parts availability are crucial considerations for my decision. Additionally, I'm concerned about the potential discontinuation of the Elevate model by Honda, similar to what happened with the WRV and BRV models, and how it would impact service and parts availability in the long term. I've received a significant discount from the Honda dealership for the Nov/Dec-2023 model. Considering this, should I still consider the Elevate, or would it be better to opt for the Creta for its features, look, and feel? Given these factors, I would greatly appreciate your guidance on which option would be the best choice for me.
I used to get 14 kmpl in city and 20 on highway from 2014 City CVT. The trick to get good mileage from CVT is to keep the RPM below 1500. And honda tunes their CVTs to do just that.

The more I watch Elevate videos the more I'm starting to like it. I drive a 2017 Honda City CVT it's drives like a dream even now: that 1.5 i-VTEC and CVT is a marriage made in heaven: most youngsters may not agree but to I've lived with it for 7 years. Elevate has most of the essential features and has a down to earth retail price with ADAS. What more do you want. Like the way Elevate was captured on the road from outside in this video and it looked imposing and sexy at the same time (time stamp 10mins) very planted, indeed. It's a no nonsense car that will grow on you and endear to it's owners with it's reliability and fuss free performance even after the novelty factor wears off, it's more for a mature audience...I liked the video even though I may not to agree to all that you said.
very nice review. you have pointed exactly what Honda missed out. looks like Honda team was under pressure to release a product to compete with Hyundai, Toyota and Suzuki. One of my favourite companies, Honda but somehow they are playing so small in India. They can do better.
I think Gagan Points are totally valid if you look at the sub 20 lakh segment there are plenty of good opinions from sedans like virtus, verna, city, slavia to CSUVs with good performance like creta, seltos, Taigun/Kushaq, Hyryder/Grand Vitara etc and they provide plenty of features which you don't see in Elevate, apart from Honda reliability (which is no doubt is great) what you get here which sets elevate apart from compitition. As Gagan said this car is decent offering in this segment which not going to make buyers wow over it but creates another alternative in this segment. As always typical Honda just doing things for the the sake of doing thing in Indian market just look at the hybrid city that thing cost almost 5lakh extra which doesn't make much sense for many then then this Elevate just enough so they can have Suv in their lineup. It will be more more existing if Honda bring back their global RV lineup in India
Very informative and impressive video.... Keep it up bro 👍🏼 In my case, I owns a Grand Vitara, base model, which I got a month back. Here's the thing... 80% people who brought new nexon have shared complaint about infotainment system hanging and crashing... 😂 These people are pathetic to support such useless features... Elevate quality is superb and it has every feature necessary...
Just been to Hyundai creta and honda elevate showrooms. In India the trend is follow the crowds. Most people buy car on basis of sales figures and most cruicial is budget, hence Maruti has highest sales, leave aside safety ratings, looks etc. To cut short the discussion, Honda VX automatic cvt model is just 11K costlier than Creta S(O) Manual. Creta 2024 charges premiums for panoramic sunroof, and aesthetic features.
Stop comparing it to mg or any other car if you don't know Hondas product lineup... Honda has been using this front design in usa for more than a decade now... This car is inspired by Honda pilot which is American suv...

All reviewers r applauding handling and steering feedback of this car ,they r super impressed but gagan u r saying total opposite of that . Also ride quality is best of this car as per all auto journalist but u r saying opposite here as well.
Although u r a good car reviewer I always feel u have soft corner for Koreans .
U always appreciate them more irrespective of whatever product they launch .
100%, this guy is tipped by Koreans.
Honda is like Batman, not something you asked for but something you needed 🤣
Elevet mein CNG lagana ..sahi rahega ..pls batae
very nice review. you have pointed exactly what Honda missed out. looks like Honda team was under pressure to release a product to compete with Hyundai, Toyota and Suzuki. One of my favourite companies, Honda but somehow they are playing so small in India. They can do better.
Remove adas and give hybrid engine is a brainy statement by Gagan bhai. Best automobile influencer❤
Yeah as if both cost the same😂
I think Gagan Points are totally valid if you look at the sub 20 lakh segment there are plenty of good opinions from sedans like virtus, verna, city, slavia to CSUVs with good performance like creta, seltos, Taigun/Kushaq, Hyryder/Grand Vitara etc and they provide plenty of features which you don't see in Elevate, apart from Honda reliability (which is no doubt is great) what you get here which sets elevate apart from compitition.
Best suv in segment 👍👍👍👍looks....best engine...space...ground clearance.. ❤️
8:08 someone explain this to Faisal khan
If safety is my priority, which car should i buy elevate or kushaq?
Very informative and impressive video.... Keep it up bro 👍🏼
In my case, I owns a Grand Vitara, base model, which I got a month back. I considered the Hyrider, Creta, Seltos, Kushaq and finally went for the GV. Then came this one from Honda, and I was a bit skeptical. But with all these info I received, I am happy and feels that I've made the right choice - GV is the one for me ❤
Bhai aapki editing next level hai. Really appreciated❤👍,
No doubt Honda make some good looking and decent cars
Gagan ji which car you suggest near 15 lakhs value for money.
0:59 gagan be like:- piche owner bhi khare hai unse bhi puch lete hai kesi lagi car 😂😂
Absolutely true .adas with a cam doesn’t attract buyers .instead of that if they had hybrid in elevate and price it at 16-17 .it will sell like hot cake
Keep on with the new style of review. It surely helps in retaining viewers
Is the Elevate good enough for a long run? Can we use it for 10 years?
Top class review ! Gagan sir well done
Gagan bhaiya ne ek baat spot on kaha “ ADAS Chor k hybrid option de dete 16-16.50 lakh me toh daba ke bikti elevate “ ..... wish Honda listens
you are the true reviewer ❤️❤️
How will it perform in full load on uphill situations?
Bhai Mera to Dil aa gya hai ess car per
Is there any quality difference between Hyundai and maruti left in this age....is creta seltos safe??
Xuv300 may be a segment below, but does elevate feel better than xuv300 in ride handling and power
Xuv 300 feels better because that is turbo turbo charger provides extra punch to the engine that's why u have feel there is extra grunt in a car here na engine lacks but this engine performs better than any na engine in a market that it's rivals have
@@NishantSharma-cv9ww thx for reply, yes you are right, XUV 300 has good mid torque due to turbo especially in diesel. I wonder how the ride quality compares, maybe a test drive should answer..
I am watching a video of this channel for the very first time and really enjoyed the way you explain things and connect with the audience. Nice and informative video.
Welcome to Gagan’s Galaxy
looks features everything is amazing ❤ liked it worth car
MAIN YE VIDEO KA 15 MIN ME ROAD NOISE SE PARESHAN HO GAYA ................ I JUST CAN'T IMAGINE DRIVING THIS FOR 15 YEARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

😂😂😂
This guy best auto reviewer in India.
Excellent review all points explained honda is really not entering in market like what they did with honda city diesel and amaze
Elevate CVT hills par kaisa perform karti hai, full capacity par lag karti hai ki nahi ?
looks amazing ❤
Which tyres have been used ?
Sun roof choti hai ... Lol , for India sunroof is not required at all. And u do not need to climb outside 😂, that's not the purpose.
Muje sikha rahe ho? Matlab nye bande ho. 😃
@@GaganChoudhary haha 🤣 u reply says it all ...... No need to comment further. " Remember, there is always a bigger Fish"
I always mention that the sunroof isn't to hang outside in moving car. And also about sunroof not being all that important.
mere paas naa to car hai or naa mai car lene wala hu but fir bhi mai Gagan bhaiya ki video dekhta hu pta ni kyo 😅 love you bhaiya ❤
Bhai ye banda kitana biased hai Hyundai aur KIA ko leke, aaj se nahi jamane pahle se hai ye aisa. Ye pahla banda hai jo Korean gadi ke fit & finish ko jyada accha kehta hai Japanese gadiyon se. Bhai waah 😅
Exactly ye banda koreans ki 10 strengths nikalega aur thodi bohot kamiya nikaldega aur aise bolega jaise ki woh kamiya bohot choti hai iski kabhi kabhi video dekhta hu expect karke ki ye review unbiased hoga par nahi
Hybrid waali baat bilkul Sahi 👌🏻👌🏻15-16 lk mein hybrid de dete dono isme aur City mein toh dabaake bokh sakti hain
Grand Vitara Have Atleast Awd Not 100 percent Pseudo SUV Ok 👍
Can someone answer this question
How does elevate stand chance of not heating up on a expressway ..i mean the AC and engine both ?
I rarely see any elevate on JME
Jaipur Mumbai expressway
In this video i feel like he has some problem with honda
Ye khud tata punch ev kharid kr laaya h 😅
@@punitpareta8650😂😂😂
Here's the thing... 80% people who brought new nexon have shared complaint about infotainment system hanging and crashing... 😂
These people are pathetic to support such useless features...
Elevate quality is superb and it has every feature necessary...

Thoughts on hybrid is absolutely acceptable. Definitely sale will increase
If There Is Hybrid And Some More Features It Will Be Best
Iss gadi ko attractive whi nahi bolega jo andha hoga..sbse best looking suv h ye segment ki ❤️👍
Look at the bonnet it’s unpainted from inside 😮🤔
@gaganchoudhary HAEDLIGHT KA NIGHT ME PERFORMANCE KESA HE ?
AGAR SELTOS OR CRETA JESA HE YA XUV700 JESA HE YE TO BOLO .
At 18:44 Gagan bhai ne kya chutki bajayi hai manual se sidha CVT se 😅😅
😂😂😂
Just been to Hyundai creta and honda elevate showrooms. In India the trend is follow the crowds. Most people buy car on basis of sales figures and most cruicial is budget, hence Maruti has highest sales, leave aside safety ratings, looks etc. To cut short the discussion, Honda VX automatic cvt model is just 11K costlier than Creta S(O) Manual. Creta 2024 charges premiums for panoramic sunroof, and aesthetic features.
Front looks MGish.
Stop comparing it to mg or any other car if you don't know Hondas product lineup... Honda has been using this front design in usa for more than a decade now...
This car is inspired by Honda pilot which is American suv...
Even sude proportion looks like hector
What do you think. How much it scores in global ncap?
Heart of any car is “engine”… Honda‘s engine are best know for performance and being reliable.
Only logical reason for too much dummy button can be hybrid will come in future , the dummy button next to gear box , could be possibly EV mode button , most of them place it there , let’s hope for hybrid version
Hi gagan bhai.. what's your take??Elevate top end vs seltos htx
Elevate or space and ride. Seltos for quality and features.
Is the road noise and engine voice too much in Elevate?? And you talked about quality, so does it mean Seltos has better build quality than Elevate
