No worries - it was a tough one for sure! I actually did the workout on Lutscher, lol. It was done about a mile from the top of the first climb - did the descent and said “f that second climb, I’ll do it another time!” 😅
@@ericbarnettcycling if you plan a meetup for that route, it will start you at the top of the climb. You can then complete the route (downhill first, then the climb) without having the lead-in with the climb first.
@ that’s way too smart. I just randomly chose a route for the workout, only looking at the distance. I’ll probably just do it again the stupid way when it comes up in TDZ.
Thanks Simon - for someone looking to get back into shape, they’re pretty good for a quick kick in the butt. Far better than what I would have instinctually done, which is just ride long, flat, Zone 2 routes
I'll have to get my English to American translation book out. Yesterday I said I'm sitting down with my coffee and biscuits. After reading my book I can now translate. I'm sitting down with my coffee and cookies. 😅
I was actually thinking about that. We’ve been watching Ted Lasso, so I can speak the Queen’s English, at least conversationally. But if a cookie is a biscuit, what is a biscuit? 🤷🇺🇸🍪
Now for some people a morning treat would be Tea and scones(American biscuit) cut open the scone and put jam (American jelly) and cream in them. Enough calories to sick a ship.
Totally missed this one even though I had it marked to notify me. I was suffering on Lutscher in Innsbruck and would have loved the banter with you.

It’s been a few sessions since I have caught up with the workouts but definitely looking stronger, Eric! 💪 How have you found them?

@ericbarnettcycling a scone.
The important thing is and it don't matter if you're having cookies of biscuits, you have to stick you little pinky out when you sip from your cup.

@@timbullman1991 we do have a thing we call scones, which is like a better biscuit.
