Thanks for sharing the poopoo & peepee video on the petree litter box. Easier to make decision buy or no buy.. so far this is the cheapest automatic litter box in market. How abt the odor and how often u clean the drawer of collection?

So it's been about 2++ weeks since we got everything set up and going, and so far, it has been working really well.
For me, not having to worry about cleaning his litter tray 2 ~ 3 times a day; getting notifications on how frequently he uses the bathroom; are all awesome upgrades. I haven't had the chance to use a whole bag of litter yet, but based on my guesstimation, we might be using less litter too (as compared to conventional trays).

I'm not too sure about Savannah cats, but my little monster is also about 9kg in weight, and he has no problems going in and out.
I'm also not too sure about the Pura-X Smart litter box, but I selected the PETREE version because of its larger entrance/exit.
However, I must say that on occasion, when 'MaoMao' leaps out quickly, his little paws will track some litter out with him. Meaning to say, having a vacuum cleaner or dustpan nearby will be advisable.
how big is your cat?
my smallest is 12 lbs & the largest is 18 lbs.
I think the cycle started way too fast and the clumping wasn't not "done" with the poop, thus, it is still stuck 😞 Can we alter that I am sure it's for you to show us, right? I think about 5min. later is good. Also is it safe for kittens at 1.5kg (around 3lbs)?

How do you put in the 7 L waste bin????? It won't fit!!
Hello ST, i am actually not too sure what the capacity of the trash-bag is. Having said that, i believe a regular small 'bathroom sized dustbin bag' should fit.

Have you tried tofu litter?
I did, but that was when he was still using a regular litter-tray and not this automatic version. I believe the automatic version requires clumping-litter.
Which app to download for wifi use?
Hello XenAh. We're using the recommended (Smart Life) app, and it has been working flawlessly for us.

Does it still smell somehow after the auto clean?
Not really! But we do clean out the (poopoo) and (pee clumps) at the rear storage drawer every 2 ~ 3 days.
Is it me or there is not alot of litter in it ? I see the word "max" but can't see where is the line. I noticed your cat is doing peepee on the rubberband because of that. Tell me more. Thx !
Hello BeNi, i'm sorry but i don't actually know precisely how much litter we use. this video was taken on day-1 when we were still setting it up and figuring things out. 😊 for the past 13 months, we have had no issues with operations and most importantly, MaoMao seem to like his bathroom very much. 🤗

Yes it does. I'm using a regular 3-pin Asia/UK plug.

I can tell you guys that we are completely disappointed about this litterbox. The pi comes overall down. We don’t know where it leaks. We have paid 500 euro for this…
How much
I think that will depend on where (country) you're purchasing from, and if the seller (eg: online shop) is running any promotions.
The current average price here in Singapore seem to be approx. SG$450 right now.
