Cool video! 😎 Came across your channel randomly... one note on the Mole...it is an acquired taste. Mole is made with over 20 ingredients....and there are many different kinds of moles. However, most people (who are not Mexican or of Mexican descent like me), have a difficult time with the flavor because it is quite complex and mixes flavors like chocolate, chili, nuts & other ingredients most people outside of Mexico have never tasted “together.” I LOVE mole!

Puerto Escondido has some of the best food in Mexico, and we have been all over the country. We have been to Puerto 10 times and are planning to move there when we retire. Great to see these little food spots, especially the food court at the Mercado. Tres Cariscoles is the one we frequent for breakfast and morning beers when we shop at the Mercado. Everything is great and very reasonably priced.

Actually, that's where I'd be if I wasn't incarcerated in snowy England.
Just wanted to give you some advice that you may want to try Laguna Manialtepec. I went on an early morning boat tour with a birdwatcher...booked it at the Information Centre...and it was one of the highlights of my stay.
Another great thing to is go there at night to bathe in bioluminescence waters. I hired a boat to myself as a birthday present and it was magical!
Last but not least, if you any requests- I stayed in Zicatela and enjoyed watching the incredible surfers...please show me some shots of the surfers por favor 🙏🙏🙏

No idea where you can find gorditas, but while you are in Oaxaca you should try the tlayudas.

12:32 the sweet rice reminds me of Indian dessert called KHEER , it’s made of milk-rice-sugar-dry fruits and served both hot and cold.
You should try it from any Indian store in the UK ( packed food ) or from any Indian restaurant/ shop. 😉

OMG! All that food looks so good. I would have been full for the entire day, by the second stop. Lol. The rice milk reminds me of a thin rice pudding. And it would have killed your spice overload. The fat in the milk cuts through the capsaicin of the peppers.
Can’t wait for your next video.

Great video, I really appreciate it! Gorditas are difficult to come by it would seem. I had some just off the highway going North from Mexico city, out of a cooler and they were the best!!! The atole is very near something I had as a child growing up French Canadian. Also have to say, molle is acquired taste; blah. There's a little place on the corner off the highway just a block north of the turn off onto the main drag into the large market. I wish I could recall the name. Simple food, great taste and excellent prices.
