      Glad you enjoyed it. I really enjoy making the videos and reliving the era that these sleds were made in!

    I have 00420 1998 mxzx 440lc . I raced it in the vintage class (2014& older) in mancelona Michigan . My competion was rev 440 and iqr600 .. I took 2nd 4th and 4th in the final after getting knocked off the track leading a lap .. still a very very competitive sled on the track by far my favorite sled I've ever owned and i been through a lot of sleds ...just always held onto the mxzx because I knew it would shine on a track one day .. excited to go back and race it again in March.. there's actually a RUclips video of us racing our Channel is bravo boys 250

    Great video. I have a 97 MXZX in my garage too. Number 16. I snow crossed one in 97 and it was a huge improvement over the 96 MXZ. Don't have my original but found a nice one in Michigan in 2008. It's in Ontario now. I posted a video years ago. Channel is Rob Led

    Thanks guys. I realized after I released the video that I misspoke. The type 454 was reintroduced in the mxz in 1995, not 96’

    If i can make a suggestion it would be great to see a closer view of the engine bay when you're pointing out all the details like the magnesium chaincase cover etc. Keep up the good work regardless

    I had a 98 MXZx 440 LC, 00010. I raced it on grass a few seasons, then trail rode it for about three years all over the U.P. of Michigan......... What a fun sled!

    Dustin, great video as always 👍 Love the idea of doing an in death review of a sled and what a fantastic sled to start it all out with. I had a 97 MXZx 440 (Number 16) that I foolishly sold. A lot of what you said about this sled I remembered from back when I had mine. We still have a 99 MXZx 440. We use to trail ride both these sleds. They were a lot of fun in the twisties and would give larger cc sleds fits until we hit the straights. I'd love to get another 97 Zx. Anyways, I'll be sure to check out you videos when you put them up.

    Great video! I had a 98 mxzx 440 I trail rode several years back, what a fun sled! Definitely a should have never sold it kinda sled. Another they did if I remember correctly from back then was leave tunnel bare aluminum. I remember reading they saved several ounces of weight by leaving it bare.

    My brother just bought a sled that’s the best of both worlds. It’s an 80 7500 with a 96 mxz front bulkhead, 583, front and rear suspension, but it still looks 1% like a blizzard. We’re going to repaint and decal the hood, belly pan and he’s gonna put pistons and rings in the 583.. it’s a wicked cool resto mod..
    the motor in that sled you’re featuring was one of the best motors skidoo ever made. Great video, keep ‘em coming. Especially on the vintage stuff, we love it

    This is awesome. I love content on older era sleds. Keep them coming. New subscriber. I have a factory 1975 245 supermod I’ve always thought of doing a video like this.

    we were at haydays when they brought that in by helicopter, we were on an off brand at the time with the initials AC, but we still thought it was pretty cool. however my older brother made a comment which involved the use of a RPG.

    Absolutely love what you just did! What an awesome piece! I'm assuming that it is an S chassis. Also. The rear suspension. Was that an AD Bovine piece? Or were they experimenting with different designs?

    • @skidoojunky6230
      @skidoojunky6230  6 месяцев назад

      Thanks Dale, the rear skid was actually an SC-10. And Ski-Doo’s first rising rate suspension at that.
