(HD) NS Dayton District Action: 10

Welcome to trains of the Dayton District Volume 10. Features some heritage units, leased units, patched units, and some nice GE and EMD lashups. It’s been cold lately so I haven’t been going far on the District with these, but I plan to get west of Fairborn eventually and down close to Cincinnati. Anyway hope you guys enjoy

If I see ya I’ll wave to ya sometime. Like the video. Only thing I noticed is we don’t use diverging indications. We use Approach Medium, Approach Limited, limited clear etc.

Oh, my bad. I’ve never heard NS using approach limited or limited clear unless they’re using CSX trackage down in Hamilton OH. Thanks for the clarification

How many trains a day does that line get? An exception of CSX hopping onto it, I was told this is a slow line.

Only 6 daily that run the entirety of it. There are 2 that go to and from Middletown to and from Indiana, and occasionally there are some unit trains
