    Very nice. Two things stick out for me. First working with a model. I am looking around the house to see what I can use. Second, the feather pattern on the wing. I would have made it more difficult by using a new bit of yarn for each one. Thank you.

    • @feltsbyphilippa
      @feltsbyphilippa  Год назад

      I had to be quick so thought a little pattern would suggest feathers and working from a model is really handy, glad you enjoyed it x

    Lovely kingfisher Pippa. Just one question: did you find that the legs and feet got in the way while you were working on felting the body of the bird? I would probably have made them separately and attached them at the end, so I wondered if you thought your method wad easier?

    • @feltsbyphilippa
      @feltsbyphilippa  Год назад

      Thanks, I found it really stable and easy to do with legs attached. It's tricky bending it all in the first place but once done and wrapped straight away they were fine. They are big feet so really help the kingfisher stand up xx
