Same here but i hate removing the stain.i use hot water add Clorox and soaked and brush it using use toothbrush if it is a small stain b4 putting it to the washer

I'm a PI, and I know the law. I'm sorry that this happened, but you were better off taking out a store and for that amount. Never mess with a government entity.
Actually you want a full washer. Front load washers use the friction of garments rubbing along each other to wash. So a full load which will shrink with contact to water will wash better and uses less water. Now opposite is said for a top loader.

there is space on the top but we can't see it because the window is too small and the sheets are heavy so it is difficult to fill it at the top
