Although having said that I don't think many people would be taking paint so he could just pop by once the looting's calmed down a bit and have a nice time picking out a shade.
I’d go back to my secondary school, my town isn’t particularly large, my school will have food, water toilets etc, a metal fence around it, locked doors, we will have knifes and stuff from food technology, hammers, welders screwdrivers from DT and baseball bats, cricket bats and javelins from PE. Only problem is there’s a lot of windows
Think that's the biggest laugh I've ever done while watching an access video. "I think I'll have to murder my neighbour"! Hilarious that you have already gone through the thought process of I'll probably have to murder some people and you're ok with it! 😂😂😂
I think for me I would try to obtain items that will help me fight or hunt. Assuming they're attracted to sound I think a gun would just attract more attention. Usable in the right situation though. Melee weapons and perhaps silent long range stuff. Archery equipment.
Im so glad that im not the only one terrified of a zombie apocalypse. I watched 28 weeks later way too young and havent been able to recover. With you all the way rosie!!!
I remember reading a vampire comic when i was in kindergarten and after that i slept years with the blankets tucked beneath me and around my neck so nobody could bite me. I still can't watch vampire movies.
So you're saying you don't already have s cupboard full? I think I'm up to twice my weight already. I know IL have to share with my wife and kids though........cos apparently it's how family works
Thinking about it a Garden Centre would be a great place to fortify. They have all the seeds you need to grow your own food and plenty of soil and fertiliser to do so. They also sell spades, rakes and axes so you'd have a stockpile of melee weapons. Plus a car park could be turned into a, attack on Negan style, baracade/trap. Well played Dave.
My favorite survivors: Rob and Dan. Cause they both stay calm, first reflect and then act. Bonus points for Dave, cause he admitted he would be more of a follower. Most realistic, cause not everyone can be a leader.
Depends on the zombie. ROTLD type, no hope, unless you can run a power station. Romero type, Shaun of the dead with your mates, good times. 28 days later, you could wait it out if you manage to get to safety.
Rob may start up 50/50 taxi. Either he delivers you to your location, or opens your door and sssslllooowwwllllyyy drives through a horde of zombies till they yank you out, then he speeds off into the distance.
Best Melee weapon would be a Crowbar, a Hooligan bar, War Hammer or Tomahawk. Knives would not penetrate the skull easily and if they did, they’d get stuck with a lack of leverage. The ultimate vehicle would be an electric bicycle or just a normal one and the best chance you would have would be an oil rig or something surrounded by water. In Britain, guns are scarce but shotguns are the most common so finding shells and a shotgun can give you a massive advantage but the best weapon would be a bow or crossbow. They are silent, and you can make a bow and arrow from many different things as well. In the opening hours, I would scout the local supermarket to see how risky it would be then primarily look for water, canned food and medication. If not, raid houses for their supplies. All this is assuming the government and military couldn’t handle such an outbreak which I guarantee they probably could unless said zombies are like those in 28 Days Later, in which case we’re all dead.
I live in Wales, plenty of countryside nearby, and spaced out towns, with few cities. What is also nearby though, is castles. They've proven to be effective for defending people in the pre-gunpowder world, and in the UK I don't see guns and explosives being a huge problem. Their is one near me that has been preserved, maintained, has a moat, drawbridge, plenty of room for farming inside the walls, and defensive positions. From their I'd use the castle as a base, and slowly spread out to nearby locations, picking up supplies, and maybe some survivors to help cultivate land, and potentially bring back electricity to locations my group holds. With electricity we could use that to improve production, increase morale, and of course use it as a bargaining chip against others. Though I don't know much about the UK power grid, so I'd hope one of the perople with me would have at least some know how.
Finally someone notices the positive aspects of a zombie apocalypse, instead of hating zombies in general for no reason other than them being hungry. I get hungry too on weekends after every store has closed.
Stage 1: Evacuation Escape from the town or city. As Rob said, stick to open areas. Avoid using transport. More chance someone will try and steal your car or someone on public transport was infected and could turn. Stage 2: Loot food supplies. Find as much dried and canned food as I can carry. Raid a garden centre for packets of seeds for vegetables. Grab some bottles of water. Stage 3: Safe location. Find myself a safe location. I would avoid houses or shopping centres as they would be top on the list for raiders and looters. Best bet would be to find a wooded area and set up camp in the woods, build a shelter preferably near some water. Set traps around my base. small traps for food, like rabbits, larger traps for zombies or potential raiders. Stage 4: Wait for it to all blow over. Since the human body will decay to the point of uselessness after a year at most, Simply wait for the zombies to simply decompose to the point they can no longer pose a threat. Weapon of choice: Axe. It can be used to fend off zombies, cut down trees, make an improvised bow and spears, can be repaired easily, can be used as a rudimentary shovel. for clearing the ground. Chance of survival: Relatively high.
My Only One Small Issue was While Rob was talking about His Situation.. With Walking being the Safer Option No Doubt. Him walking through a Rural Backfield made me think of the Opening Scene of 28 Weeks Later when The Main Character is Running for the Boat across a Farmers Field.. Now, Are we Basing all these Situations on Old Style Zombies Who Nearly Walk. Or Ones Who Can Now Run like in the Remake of the Dawn of The Dead and Movies/Games Following..
I love how Dave talks for 5 minutes the says "right hers my plan, first off, get a bike". The bike was not mentioned in those first five mins. I love Dave, but I feel like he might be the first to go
I would, find a fairly remote, secure location, that is still close to grocery stores and such, stockpile things like canned foods, cereal, dried foods, bottled water, get weapons, preferably something with reach, and is sturdy: Swords, Baseball bats, crowbar, metal pipe, etc. Stay in my hideout weeks at a time, only going out when I need more food.
Being in the Royal Navy, I would grab my kids and head straight to my ship: lots of food (although never any fresh fruit!), a power generator, water purifier, and actual weapons ... I'd just need someone to get the ship out of the dock and help sail it away abit.
Technically Rob has the best plan but Dave's pure personality gives him the highest chance of survival due to his fear. Fear makes adrenaline rush and makes humans better at times, he's more likely to make a dumb decision but he's more likely to make a decision entirely while the rest scramble and fear. My own plan is pretty much staying amongst my neighborhood, a neighborhood full of country hicks I don't think there's 1 house in the area without 2 guns, I collect antique weaponry. Making a blockade around my neighborhood with all our cars would allow a way for us to tell when a problem is approaching and then we can act on it. In my neighborhood we have a fire chief, two policemen, roughly 14 dogs, and, most of the houses are multistory. Using the storage sheds and such as spare wood we could block off the lower floors from the upper and build small bridge systems between our houses to one or more of which will have an overhang over the car barrier for us to climb onto, which zombies and their minor lack of control would be incapable of properly climbing, an old woman with a stick could stop them from climbing it so that much would be enough for the time being. A small experiment or two to see the abilities of zombies from the smarter of the neighborhood would be good, see if zombies are capable of climbing a simple rope? Do they have the physical or even mental capabilities? If not there's our new means of entrance. While food is a primary problem I know for a fact at least 2 or 3 of my friends here have full deep freezers incase a paycheck is late or low, we'd have at least 4 or 5 days worth of food for the entire neighborhood AFTER we ran out of our own food, we'd have a long enough time to think of something. Roughly 50+ minds can think up a plan to keep us alive. In time of getting everything set and getting more settled, we could upgrade our means of living and safety with a few of my neighbor's lawnmowers, creating ready traps for any oncoming hoards to be slaughtered. Unfortunately since I am the single youngest person in the neighborhood short from children and 2 teenagers, I would likely be considered a prime candidate for scouting so I'll be dead in eh? 3 weeks? Good luck to the rest of my neighborhood though, lot of them have what it takes I'm sure.
Ok, I think Rob would live the longest and his plan is roughly similar to my own. I would grab a car and loot as much kerosene, etc as I could from camping equipment shops because the power is going to go off at some point. I’d also head to a Metropolitan Police station once the initial massacre was over and grab as many firearms and ammo as I could.
I hope this video doesn't end up being used in a court of law Rob. As for me, I'd grab my replica medieval sword, find the nearest, least ruined castle around and hole up there, not before stopping off at Morrisons and picking up a few tinned cans of course.
If I were in a zombie apocalypse, first of all I'd hope that the real depiction is "Warm Bodies" and I can cure the zombies with love. Otherwise, no matter where I go, I would carry with me the Complete Works of William Shakespeare, and if any zombie tries to attack me, I'd smack them on the head with it. I'm fairly certain as big as that book is that it would do a lot of damage, and they probably wouldn't do much to fight back.
Dan is going to end up like that guy from the twilight zone where he has all the time in the world to read all the books but then his glasses break. Lol
Simple, I have enough food to last a week, and people being chaotic will be the major problem. So I would bar my house and wait it out till almost everyone is dead/looted and ran. And then take my bow, put my cats in a backpack, and head on the road on my bicycle.
Hide up the hills near my home. Can see for miles and difficult terrain so Zombies less likely to be there and a Good location with multiple towns/city within a days walk (20 miles). Use my ice axe (I climb munros summer & winter) as my main weapon and likely raid the outdoor stores before attempting super markets etc.
First stop would be a hardware store, pick up hammers and nail guns, wait it out near a farm so there is a renewable source of food (sorry rob) and then raid a supermarket for frozen/tinned food. It’s all about patience.
As a Homebase employee, I can say that there is no safer place to be in a zombie apocalypse. I can do what Dan said and disguise myself....and take a crowbar or axe off of the shelf to defend myself!
If zombies retain average human strength, mortality etc. I'd go for a bludgeoning melee weapon like a baseball bat. Sharp tools will wear off faster if you keep on chopping off limbs and such.
a wore off machete is still good enough to kneecap people and break limbs.also do you realize how many zombies you would need to chop off before most blades wear off ? this is a survival experience, you would avoid confrontation at all possible
Dave is actually the most likely to survive. As soon as he sees something scary he would probably run like hell. Rincewind from the Discworld series also mostly survived because he is running away from everything fast. XD
Rob would definitely be the mostly likely to survive. I work in London but live in Kent so I’d probably be royally screwed trying to get home but first things first I’d call my family at home and instruct them not to open the doors for anyone except the family. I’d then try to rendez-vous with my sister who also works in London and then try to find a weapon. I’m thinking a blunt melee weapon, like a sledgehammer, and then a sharp one, like a combat knife, because even if I did get hold of a gun and some ammo, I’ve never shot one so it would still be useless. Plus guns are noisy and attract too much attention! I’d then start doing cross country to get back home because screw public transport! I’d also try to stop at service stations and off licenses and try to gather as many tins of food. I’m thinking baked beans, tins of soup, packets of noodles etc. There’s a few garden centres in Kent where I live so I’d try to grab seeds and stuff and then when we get home, I’d try to dig a vegetable patch in our garden. Luckily, our garden is very big and my dad is ex-military and is very handy and good at DIY so I figure if me and my sister could make it home safely to our parents, then we probably could weather it out. But what’s even more likely to happen is that I see a zombie dog and try to pet it and then turn into a zombie after it bites me...😂😂😂
If Rosie’s biggest fear is a real life actual zombie apocalypse I’m actually jealous. There are far more likely things that you should be scared of. I’ve stopped leaving my bedroom window open when I sleep. I left it open one morning and before I got in my car I saw it and saw how incredibly easy it’d be to just climb up and get in. There’s an actual fear for you Rosie... enjoy
If you want to go for a good melee weapon for a zombie apocalypse, I would probably go with a shovel. It's got some weight to it, a sharp edge, and if the end broke off, you'd have a sturdy, lengthy piece of wood to continue using.
Straight to the shop to stock up with tinned food, tea-bags, and get some walkie-talkies. Give spare walkie-talkies to family then barricade myself in upstairs at home, fill the bath with water, then crowbar and cleavers at the ready for anything dead or alive that gets in. See you on the other side!
I think Dave would live the longest because he'd hide and stay hidden. If he did encounter a zombie, he wouldn't bother with weapons and fighting, he'd just run and he'd be out of there faster than you can turn the camera on him to see his escape. I'd also be a hider. I'd stay in my boarded up house until the zombies eventually come, and then I'd run and join a large crowd. I'd stay in the centre, so zombies would get those on the outside of the group, and then I'd weave through everyone and escape until I find the next crowd. Also, finding out where all the WW2 bunkers are would be a good idea.

Yes Dan! Thank you! That was the perfect response!
Think that's the biggest laugh I've ever done while watching an access video. "I think I'll have to murder my neighbour"! Hilarious that you have already gone through the thought process of I'll probably have to murder some people and you're ok with it! 😂😂😂
I near coughed up a lung laughing when he said that. His delivery was perfect and caught me off guard.
@@mattb8943 same! As well as the little pause and quiet sinister voice!
0:07 Capom is my favorite game studio!
Buy my weight in baked beans and hide in a cupboard.
Depending on how much you weigh you're set. lol I'm a phatty so my weight in baked beans would be more than a little difficult to cart around. :P
Now this-- this is the plan
So you're saying you don't already have s cupboard full? I think I'm up to twice my weight already. I know IL have to share with my wife and kids though........cos apparently it's how family works
... no mention of a can opener though?
@@CraigMetalHead you buy sensible, only tins with a ring pull
Seeing rob trying to drink his pond with a long straw from slightly down hill would be gold
This is becoming my favourite channel because it's not just about games. It's about friends... Well not such close friends apparently but still ;)
Thinking about it a Garden Centre would be a great place to fortify.
Delsin would survive the longest, because he has learnt the ways from Gary Fist
Dave is right..fear / being scared means more cautious and safe. The first I would do is tool up at B&Q then turn my house into a fortress..ha ha
Rob is my favorite.... 😀😃
Sufiyan Nawab Nathan ain’t 😂
It seems like Dave is ready to walk off every week! :)
Same :P!!!!!!!!!!
@@gwts1171 Dave is also good but he is my second favorite.
I love this zombie apocalypse segment. Gets you thinking. How hard it would be if the outbreak hit asia.
You my friend have a plan and it sounds good to me
Rosie: Maybe if we joined forces...
Rob: First lesson, we wouldn't join forces.
I can just imagine Dan skipping through a field, whistling a happy tune out loud, while he makes his way home.
Rosie: Dead
Dave: definitely dead😂
Dan: might live
Rob: if he made it home might live!
Though I don't know much about the UK power grid, so I'd hope one of the perople with me would have at least some know how.
one of my favourite videos. Up their with the MTV cribs videos. Miss you hollie. Happy for you, but selfishly miss you
Survive the Zombie Apocalypse? I've always wanted to eat brains. And now nothing can stop me.
Hah ,you dont need an apocalypse to eat brains *realises what he just typed* .Jesus Christ i deserve to go to HELL
@@surkhabsingh5856 That's right Singh. All you really need are bath salts lol
Finally someone notices the positive aspects of a zombie apocalypse, instead of hating zombies in general for no reason other than them being hungry. I get hungry too on weekends after every store has closed.
Rob would be safe as the Zombies would be too busy laughing as he tried to syphon his pond! XD
'You can't trust anyone in this situation'. Especially Rob.
Stage 1: Evacuation
Escape from the town or city.
Weapon of choice:
Axe.
It can be used to fend off zombies, cut down trees, make an improvised bow and spears, can be repaired easily, can be used as a rudimentary shovel. for clearing the ground.
Chance of survival:
Relatively high.
I’d try to find a trick like in the telltale games where you can put zombie guts on yourself and go through zombies undedected
Rob will finally snap and re-enact murder taxi with his neighbours van.
Dave: Garden Centre and get a motorbike.
Rob: Fortify his house and get neighbours van.
Dan: Decorating time.
Different zombie styles, different scenarios, different tactics. Fight til you have no ammo or food and hope for the best.
Find a Fishing boat with a nice cabine, row to the middle of the lake: unlimited water supply and fish supply
15:50 here to read Ron's neighbour's comment on Rob's contingency plan
I hope this video doesn't end up being used in a court of law Rob. As for me, I'd grab my replica medieval sword, find the nearest, least ruined castle around and hole up there, not before stopping off at Morrisons and picking up a few tinned cans of course.
Since COVID Maybe Dan has finally caught up on his chores
Just watching this now, has Dan done all the decorating he's planned? 😂
So ready for this...bring it! Every new place I work, I plan how I can use it to survive....
Also check out Train to Busan!
Since we've had Dan's perfect apocalypse I need to know whether the decorating got done xD
Dave's laugh 😂😂
Tower of London with all those nice stone walls sounds good. Got plenty of swords, axes, etc. too.
Lol
Dave's shirt is THE same THE he wears in THE channel photo :P by the way I Think is time to move on and make a New one.. without Hollie :(
I could finally clear my gaming backlog!
Simple, I have enough food to last a week, and people being chaotic will be the major problem. So I would bar my house and wait it out till almost everyone is dead/looted and ran. And then take my bow, put my cats in a backpack, and head on the road on my bicycle.
So basically Dave wants to find Neegan and impress him by having Percilla, a bat with jagged nails, who can be friends with Lucille?
Hide up the hills near my home. Can see for miles and difficult terrain so Zombies less likely to be there and a Good location with multiple towns/city within a days walk (20 miles). Use my ice axe (I climb munros summer & winter) as my main weapon and likely raid the outdoor stores before attempting super markets etc.
Rosie: "we could join forces and you might teach me the way of being more selfish"
Rob: " we wouldn't join forces"
That is the way selfishness hahaha!
Fear is a good thing, Dave, as it triggers the old fight-or-flight response.
I like that Dave's is to just join a cult.
AlmightyStarfire.....you do know there are metal baseball bats right?
a wore off machete is still good enough to kneecap people and break limbs.also do you realize how many zombies you would need to chop off before most blades wear off ? this is a survival experience, you would avoid confrontation at all possible
Dave is actually the most likely to survive. As soon as he sees something scary he would probably run like hell. Rincewind from the Discworld series also mostly survived because he is running away from everything fast. XD
I really hope Dan is getting his chores done these days.
Glad I waited until the end. That's just drinking with a straw!!
At last some Dan! I was beginning to think I’d imagine him. More please.
But what’s even more likely to happen is that I see a zombie dog and try to pet it and then turn into a zombie after it bites me...😂😂😂
Oh dear god you guys haven't thought this through enough... I can't wait for the above apocalypse.
Rob's plan is actually pretty well thought out
Order of Zombie Death
1. Dan
2. Dave
3. Nathan
4. Rosie
5. Rob
Saddest moment is at 24:08 when the group pic is at the end and you realise Hollie is in the pic 😭 still great video guys 😊👍🏻
Dave is the one to survive... the timid ones always do
Melee weapons are a must in a zombie apocalypse! "'Aim for the head' is a lie!"
Rob and Dave still doing live streams, Dave a zombie, like the end of Shaun of the Dead
