As an fyi, in case you weren't aware, Screamers that are part of a POI won't actually summon zombies. Only the Screamers that spawn in the wild as a result of "heat" buildup will do that.
I don't know if it would work, but I feel like if you added points to the end of each trap maze it would funnel them to the entrance on each side. (like rotate the ramp on the side of a block and make a arrow head shape or something to that degree.) Anyways great video! It was fun to watch! Edit: It would also make it look like a battleship or something like that.

How to turn rain, fog, and weather off in 7D2D: Press F1 to open the console and type in the command "weather rain 0" and hit enter. Rain is off. To turn the fog off just type in the command "weather fog 0" and hit enter. The fog is gone. To turn the weather completely off type in the command "weathersurvival off" and hit enter. Everything related to weather should be turned off.
There's alot going on with this hoede base and you're correct that the zombie ai refused to use your path. I don't want to spoil too much regarding hoede zombie pathing but to anawer your question the zombies will not spawn inside your base. In fact zombies will only spawn on natural (game generated) dirt. I will also say that it likely would've been a waste to build such a long maze twice again. They would spawn in weird spots and they'd try to smash through the corners. I'm no scientist of this stuff but I can say that I've noticed that when I try to make the zombies double back they refuse. I'm not so sure it's the length of the run that bothers them but that 180 degree turn. They don't want to go down and then come back in the exact opposite direction when you're so close. They just try to smash your platform instead. What I would do is test some different horde bases. Build some in creative mode on a test server, run some hordes at them and see what they do. I'd watch such a video if you made it. Your goal was to make a base which you could survive in. It's basically an afk base because as long as the generators run the player doesn't need to do much. You can clearly make a base in which players survive the horde. The new goal ahould be to build a base that allows you to kill as many zombies as possible as quickly as possible while you remain relatively safe. In this video your horde loot diminished considerably once you had the base done. You had been actively shooting the zombies. You killed so many trying to save the base that more apawned in and you killed them. Once the base got finished they kinda stood around getting stuck in the electrical traps. That's where all your loot went. Zombies were dying and new ones would spawn in but not like they did when you were shooting them left and right. You can check your zombie kill count before and after the horde and you'll know how many you got. Even if you don't make a horde base in creative mode, that's where I'd go with it. Try to use the horde base as an exp farm and hope they'll give you your bullets back.

He's also very fun to watch. Building effective bases means its possible, even desirable to run horde night at up to 64 z's for the loot and xp.
Hey love the video. Thought I’d offer advice for getting rid of spikes and concrete etc in the future. Dig the dirt under them. With decent shovel or auger you can one shot the dirt and the spikes would have broken and half might turn into rubble that again can be one shot. Much easier than 3 shotting them.

@@Nilhero I've been doing a no trader run myself. Approaching day 50 now, just made my second Crucible and started upgrading my horde base to steel. Got a 4x4, full steel tool loadout, impact driver & nailgun, good weapons. Only thing I'm short on is gas. Haven't found a beaker OR the desert yet >_
just so you know when you upgrade tiers at the trader she doesn't get the next tier tell the next day OR you can do a cheeky lil exit and relog it will update this also works to get a diff set of quests
@@Nilhero also not sure if anyone more knowledgeable answered your question but i think the reason they beat on your walls is the path was to long if the path from where they spawn to you is to long they beat on walls

@@Nilhero yea that's how i've been doing it as well, you can make a separate world and go into creative mode and build for free and test things so your learning doesn't cost you as much time and energy

Because as long as I have played I have always thought that and on the 7 days to die wiki here is what it says "In default game speed, 60 minute days, a single torch adds 0.5% heat every real-world minute. 10 torches would reach 100% after 20 real-world minutes. However, with 120 minute days a single torch adds 0.25% per real-world minute. 10 torches would reach 100% after 40 real-world minutes."
