I never thought I would, but I love the sound of both Arabic and Indian music. They sound kinda similar to my ear (minus the vocals), both can have beats that just go so fking hard. I can only name one (Indian) song, "Chaiyya Chaiyya," but I love it so much. Heard it in a couple of movies and had to look it up. Love the video and their dancing too.
Not quite the same vein, but in a moderately parallel way "Bloodywood" is definitely worth a test drive if you're into metal at all. _Machi Basad_ , _Dana Dan_ , and _Ari Ari_ would be my three best guesses at introductory tracks.
