Good luck with the drive, hope it helped. You should benefit from the road they were fixing up when you first cross. Have a great Christmas...drum bun!
Actually its the same road that goes From Timisoara to Craiova called E70 and that roundabout where you go to Craiova or Bechet! 6:08 I call it Ruta ocolitoare or Centura Drobeta Turnu Severin, cause its just goes around! 7:34 Since i live in Timisoara and visiting my grandma i always see the danube river, which never gets old of the view!
Thanks for the comments my friend. Makes sense 'ruta ocoliatoare' sau Centura, because they are just a traffic detour to go around the centre of the town. Good to see they are actually building more Centura around the country, so the trucks and traffic can bypass the towns. Sunt acord o suta la suta, that view of the Dunarea (Danube) is awesome. I really enjoyed coming back from Serbia through Naidas and driving back along the Danube...spectaculos! Video of that ruclips.net/video/KsciIIpCryk/видео.html Stay safe...multa sanatate 👍

Its not possible for you to enter Hungary at the moment, it is only open to people conducting business, studying etc. You can transit through Hungary but you need to show proof of where you are going and that you are allowed to go there. Look at europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/travel-and-covid/hungary/index_en.htm this site has entry data for all countries in Europe and is updated daily.
I have passed all borders in the Balkans and all borderpolice have been very nice. But dont expect polite behavier if you enter Sweden. They think the are working for gestapo.
Adds to the ambience of the drive! Yes I can hear it in the audio, the mic is actually nowhere near the air condition. Mounted on the top centre of the windscreen and the Peugeot has a series of vents on the top of the dash, so only solution, make videos in winter when I don't need an A/C :))...I will figure something out. The mic in the GoPro 8 is just very effective. The mic kit for it sits on top of the case, so maybe I but one and see how it goes. But for Summer when its stinking hot, its a trade off!
@@BitsofEurope Despite Yugoslav Wars in the 90's a lot of people share memories of travelling from Slovenia to North Macedonia without border checkpoints.
@@Danculovic381 Nice comment mate and very cool to hear that kind of personal insight into an area that for many including me, just has such a complex yet very rich history. Lol...my friend we cant please everybody in the world and all opinions are great as that makes the world a special place, otherwise it would be so boring! But, what most people normally do is explain their rationale. So you have called me 'bad' and 'biased' and 'arrogant' all in one go and not said why? Arrogant certainly not me or my style for those of my friends who know me. So for my benefit, let me know why you say bad and biased? I don't delete comments I don't agree with or are negative, just simply ask why?
Ok mate so now I get a little annoyed with your comment. I watched the video back, you say bad driver for a start. No accidents, no near misses, no faults...so sorry but compared to others on the road, not bad driving. Ok lets check for biased? What comments or comments were biased?....you do understand the meaning of the word yes? No bias on my part for anything, maybe your perception. Lastly lets see about arrogance, again give me an example. All the way I said great views etc, gave great praise to Romanian and Serbian border crossing process because was all good and friendly, so give me an example of arrogance, because thats not me. Being ex military I am direct, but that's not arrogance that is being objective and telling it as it is, not sugar coating anything. Look forward to your response. O zi frumoasa!
Excellent video and thanks for posting this! Driving to Serbia tomorrow and hope all goes well!

Now can easily crossing border illegal?
What a silly question....no you can't. If anyone does then I hope that they get caught!

Up on the hill is Yugoslavian flag. Back in the days Romania and Yugoslavia built that border crossing.
@@Danculovic381 thanks for the clarification my friend. Its amazing then to think that is still there as a reminder of the former Yugoslavia. Ty 👍
