The closest thing to a explanation I’ve seen is Lena Waithe(Chi Producer) saying “Women complained so we had to believe them.” This is not an exact quote. But Lena said something to that effect during an interview with the Breakfast Club. So it seems to me that Jason does have some anger issues but he is not as bad as some people are making him out to be. I think the Me Too Movement worsened Jason’s situation.
