I have concerns that a private practice dentist would be afraid to treat a patient who asks if they practice antibiotic stewardship. Doctors and dentists seem to Fear informed patients.
Do you know that if you take probiotics while taking antibiotic you are far less likely to get C-Diff? What w need to do is educate the world as to how we get into the position of needing antibiotic. Yes some infections can't be helped. While others can clearly be avoided.
You didn’t address my main concern, if I have routine tooth cleaning every 6 months do I need to take my 2,000 mg of amoxicillin before the dentist appointment? I had THR last year on both hips. I am a C-Diff survivor.
My dentist gave me Amoxicillin 500mg and Clindamycin 300mg,I’m currently being treated for 4th infection with c diff.I wish I would’ve seen this video,I didn’t know.
Yess always take a pro-biotic w any antibiotic’s, Doctor’s dont tell you this, they just feed the medicine to us and harm us. VSL #3 is a VERY good probiotic for cdiff it helped me Alot. Get well soon🌻

PROBIOTICS while taking antibiotics. Why dont Doc’s and pharmacist warn us of cdiff w antibiotics and rec’mend probiotics??!!
