    I found this video because of the previous one. I followed the instructions in this video and successfully created my own route. Thanks Sir

      Thank you! Yes, I have a few more videos to be published soon on the T Rex 3. There is just so much that it can do! And Amazfit keeps adding new things! Stay tuned! 😉

    Thank you so much again for your videos! Dude I've learned so much from you with these detailed explanations. I now know that I can save my home location and then it will direct me back in case I need that. I wondered what the *save location meant. Cheers from Taiwan

    My use case would be metal detecting. Can you set a hot key to mark a find location of say, a ring, to note where you found the item? I assume the watch will save where you hunted all day long. Be nice to be able to find target rich locations that either currents bring stuff to (ocean hunting) or people congregate. Thanks for the time.

      You can save multiple locations (which is probably most important thing), but you can't label them and as far as I know you can not get them to show on map. To make a sort of hot zone area.
      Hope that helps!

    Very cool! What is the watch face?

    • @techgadgets100
      @techgadgets100  10 дней назад +1

      Its called "black sand" but unfortunately there is no search function in the Zepp app for watch faces.

    Thanks for the video. There is another way to convert the routes to gpx? that page unfortunately cannot do it at the moment, an error appears saying that it is due to a Google Maps update issue.

      The Komoot app makes it very easy to create a GPX file. Then that can be file will be detected by the Zepp app.

    Im sorry. Im sure i just dont understand but i can save my routes on komoot once I've synced with the zepp app and i can use those routes. You said you could not use 3rd party apps. I am sure I am confused.

    • @techgadgets100
      @techgadgets100  6 дней назад

      Sorry if I was not clear, but I think we are both right. The Zepp app will not allow you to download any 3rd party apps onto your watch. However, you are able to transfer your fitness data to several 3rd party apps like Komoot and Strava but there is no actual integration with the Zepp app- the data is just transferred.
      You are also right, Komoot makes it very easy to make GPX files and save them to your phone. Then those files could be read by the Zepp app and saved onto the watch and used by the watch. But again it is only the data, there is no true integration between the Zepp app and Komoot.
      If you had a WearOS watch, like Samsung or Pixel, you would be able to directly download Komoot or Strava to your watch and use that app on the watch while you were exercising.
      Hope that helps, thanks for the comment!

    Any idea how to delete the maps you have put on the watch?

    • @techgadgets100
      @techgadgets100  12 дней назад +1

      Sorry, I did not include that, was not really thinking about it. But easy to do, go to settings, map, click on map resource. your maps are listed there. to the right of the name is a delete icon.
      Thanks for watching!

      @techgadgets100 thank you for the quick response. I was really looking for the different maps I had downloaded and they don't seem to be listed, only base, ski and topo but not the different regions I had downloaded. I guess they are all heaped together. Thanks anyhow

      @@James-q1u8g There is plenty of memory for the maps, so probably no real need to delete them.
