I made these with longer legs for a 70 year old bear in vintage style material. One change I made to the pattern otherwise was to cut out two of the bib shapes, sew then together right sides in amd turn out the right way afterwards. This was far easier than edging and made the inside nice and Tidy. Turned out super cute in the end.
I usually buy these precut fabric quarters that are 18 by 21 inches (there’s still some left over too) but you could also buy 1/2 yard which will be plenty
It must be because the frog’s butts are so big, because when I made this the frog Build a Bear’s butts don’t fit in it. Otherwise nice tutorial, thanks!
Hey Henry and Rosie! Sorry about that, Build a Bear frogs seem a lot bigger than other build a bears so the patterns might not fit them - here’s a video that might help you adjust the pattern: ruclips.net/video/dNE9M4Y0y8A/видео.html

What the total amount of fabric used? Like when I go the store and get cut out
I usually buy these precut fabric quarters that are 18 by 21 inches (there’s still some left over too) but you could also buy 1/2 yard which will be plenty
What if you don't own a sewing machine? Can you do it by hand?
It will definitely take longer but you can! I think someone else commented here they did it by hand
@@LixiePigCrafts I'm gonna have to try this by hand.
I used special glue for fabric and it worked :)
Thanks I made one for my daughters bear. She loves it.
So happy to hear that!! 👏
can you also use those patterns when making short overalls?
Yeah you can! You could just cut a little off of the bottom of the pants pattern (the bottom would be the longer side)
Thank you for teaching us.
I hope this helped! ❤️
I made it and it is so cute but the back had a big hole so I covered it thank you so much 😊
Wow amazing

What if you have no sewing machine
I made this! I just wish it was smaller for a project I am working on.
Maybe you could try printing out the patterns at a smaller scale if you want to make them smaller 🤔
@@LixiePigCrafts I did. Thanks

They should be linked in the description box! Let me know if you have trouble opening them
