This was an excellent show/series... A couple weeks ago there was an article explain how Supacell has fit a hole in Netflix superhero theme shows. Netflix tried their own shows like Jupiter's Legacy but was a failure bc of budget/bad writing....Also, and The Umbrella Academy ratings have slipped- I didn't even know that.........
Season 2 is a must ASAP

Think of estates in Britain as kind of like projects in the south, in the sense that they're planned housing. While the buildings are tenement housing, they don't go up as high as projects in, for example, NYC. It's closer to being sets of apartments and shared public spaces.
I have no idea if there are also businesses, this is me having watched a ton of brit TV so maybe a brit will come along and add info/context/corrections.
In the UK we mix social housing (council housing) with private housing and most times its difficultto tell which is which. .Most social housing was built after WWII lots of places, especially in London other big cities like Manchester, Liverpool was bombed. The industrial centes of these areas were in working class areas. These areas were basically left over Victorian slums built in the Industrial Revolution. Council house, flats, etc. were built "homes for heroes" where built to replace the slums and bring modern amenities the working class. Most working class people grow up in social housing, then in the 1980s Mrs Thatcher allowed you to buy your home at a discount. This basically kicked off the property boom in the UK. Before that, only the professional middle class and above owned property.
