I went from a maul and axe for years to a hand me down single wedge tilt up splitter for 1 year to a ruggedmade 737,
After using it for 2 months after work here and there,, got the hang of it, and I know it's faster, I'm just amazed how much faster it is.
I mean in 15 minutes I've got almost a pick up truck full, like every day.
Pretty awesome. I will be ordering a 6 wedge soon,
My one gripe is the wings on the 4 way, why are they so short? Could stand to be like 3 or so more inches long, on each side ... just a guess and opinion, but is there a reason at all as to the short wings?

Love to hear you're enjoying your 737! It's a beast and it will certainly fill the bed of your truck up quickly. The 6-way will be a great addition!

Question. What do you do with the small slivers that you get from the prices? I’ve been keeping them for kindling but I’m getting more more and more than I think that I can use. Also storing the small slivers adds up quickly. I never used to worry about them living on the farm. Now I live in the cities and disposing of these during the winter is problematic. Thanks. I love my RuggedMade 737/24 splitter. Saves on my back and time.

Kevin, thanks for the comment. We see people doing different things with their "scrap splits". Jake, from the Dude Ranch DIY RUclips channel, uses the bigger scrap pieces to sell as kindling or burns the smaller ones in the woodyard burn barrel. Check out his channel if you haven't already. Glad you are enjoying your splitter!
