Lea was already singing pop when Sarah was still in diapers. Before she became a broadway queen she was singing and dancing with the Menudo (Ricky Martin was only about 14 then). Lea can sing just about any genre...even opera. She's truly amazing.
i like Sarah's rendition of For Good from musical Wicked, truly, she gave that song justice... this shows her vocal flexibility to sing at her lower register without too much strain... the subtle performance is great showing that showmanship is not seen in blasting 'birit' moments..

Personally I'd rather choose crystal clarity voice than a inconsistent, non descript voice like Sarah. At least when I hear Lea's voice in the radio I know that it is indeed Lea who is singing.
Hay.. You cant compare a newbie to a veteran.. Sarah is a great singer and of course lea.. Its not how you sing the song its how you deliver.. You have to feel the emotions from every word that will come out from you mouth.. Its not just you sing it till the top of your range.. People only hear but they dont really listen.. You wont be a world class performer if you dont know how to sing songs right.. Regine and lea both applied to be miss saigon but regine failed she has the range but didnt had the heart that time.. But i love regine.. Sarah has ok range but also "OA sometimes in delivering songs.. Lea feels eveey word.. And she knows that you dont have to belt just to you the world you can sing.. You dont have to scream from the top of your lungs.. Just to show the world how well you can do.. All you have to do is open you mouth and sing.. Close your eyes when you hear them singing you will know what i am trying to say.. Which one of them touch your heart im sure that will change you mind too.. Stop comparing cant you see they are singing together showing people how talented filipinoes are they are at peace singing together yet you guys are fighting over it.. But if you ask me ill go to the veteran who made our country known worldwide without yelling, screaming, or shouting or even belting just a heart felt voice that touched every person in the whole world.. No one can compete to that..
