Best tutorial out there. Silver 6.2 didn't work for me under Catalina with an iPad 4 (froze on spinning rainbow wheel when sending the Alternate RD.) Went back to 6.0 and worked like a charm, first try! Don't forget to put your device on DFU mode BEFORE first boot just right after the 3u firmware flash and then plug it into your Mac.
Thank you for the brief -- but extremely important -- step: Immediately put the iPad into DFU mode after the restore was complete. I had missed this step and got stuck on the "infinite Apple" logo at the end of the normal process with Sliver. The note on the final dialog, "need to restore the device and enter DFU before the first boot," was not too clear if one had not done a bypass before. Thanks again!
I have done it exactly as he does here... over and over and over again.. I still get the endless apple logo.. doesn't matter how many times I get it on the first boot. I'm giving up.
Finally I Removed my iCloud Lock google iremover I like some of the transitions, but sometimes they're a bit too much and are seemingly random. Since we use these persistent elements that transition across pages to indicate some kind of relationship between the previous and the next states, some of your transitions confuse me because I can't immediately see what the relationship is. For example 1:23 of the selectable tiles (which weren't selected) transition into being two switches... does that mean anything? are they related in some way? I see this as random and a bad use of the design language. However, at 3:14 I like the transition from switches to the ticks on a paper, that makes sense to me. Epic presentation
@@Harmansnation after I relay device info and delete set up it just stays in the sliver logo. it doesnt reboot or anything. when i exit dfu mode, it starts to load with the bar but still in activation lock
@@freakumification I was able to actually bypass it but with a hackintosh with sliver inside, its a lot to download and to fix bc of some errors in the current download but i was still able to bypass it.
everything was going well untill the libusb install, once finalized it still giving me the error, for what I've searched has to do with my mac os being too new (MONTERREY 12.0.1 or some like that)

Keep pressing the buttons for 5 seconds then let go power button but keep holding the home button. it will go there. Even when it goes to recovery, repeat the process.
