Wow!!! I am surprised how many greedy fisherman are out there!! Where i am from we tell everyone we’re to try when the runs are on. Just because the fish are there, it doesn’t mean they are going to bite. I mean no one shares info on where to go around here. I just spent a week here and no one told me anything to help a fellow angler out. Everyone pretty much told me to go hatchery fishing at a pond or park. Karma exists, if you share you receive. Good luck and lighten up people life is short. So sad. Thanks for sharing that video min.
It’s not about greed, it’s about people like you who are new to sport fishing and have zero fishing etiquette that come through and fish. Do you want him to tell you the exact rock he was standing at with the exact coordinates? All of the information is out there, are you too lazy to find it? Our local rivers are way over pressured. If you really wanted to catch a steelhead, you could do so without people giving away river names. Fishing local Seattle rivers is a joke now.
@@vadimstakhnyuk1514 wow!!!!! I’m not new to fishing, just the area. I’ve been fishing 40 plus years of my life and when it comes to steelhead it’s strictly catch and release. I just enjoy fishing and catching fish! Nothing Is wrong with having a name of a creek or river thrown out there. Some people are just better then others and a lot of fisherman have worked so hard to gain the knowledge they feel they earned it and no one else should get that from them. I really don’t care if I drop the name of a location, we get slammed with tourists here and we get real combat fishing here in Alaska as well. I’m talking 3-5 feet there is someone casting over your line because they saw a fish jump on the other side of you. Now I don’t enjoy that sort of fishing because I’ve been guilty of telling someone they do it again I’m going to shove my 10 foot fly rod up their a#! ! I’ve had guys pull up next to me and leave after I’ve caught a few coho and nobody else is getting a bite. It’s fishing and there are lots of miles of creeks and rivers I didn’t think a name was asking too much but apparently I am wrong. Have a good winter steelhead season and good luck.

You said you don’t like when people fish shoulder to shoulder, when you release river names on RUclips, that’s exactly what happens.
@@joshhamilton4482 there is a couple reasons for this and you need to learn them. first of all this hatchery only receives 100-200 winter steelhead a year and its a tiny creek with only a couple hundred yards of room to fish and its already fished by hundreds of fishermen a year, do you see where im going? next point being is that washington is one of fastest growing populations in the US, nobody wants to share the knowledge and give there spots out that they took years of their life figuring it out for some out of state knucklehead to be standing on the same rock they have been fishing for decades. you want to catch fish and learn then hire a guide or learn the hard way we all did... lastly saying river names on social media brings hundreds if not thousands of anglers to already pressured spots. there is a reason things are the way they are. hope you can figure it out. all i can say is good luck
@@360fishingadventures8 This. Most use a really short leader (like less than a foot) and a 1/0 hook and piece of yarn. Prawn tipped jigs work well there too. It's shock-n-awe type casting in very small pockets. Small, repetitive casts and the fish literally has a second or two to reach and bite. Fish will bite and you'll get them in the tip of the nose. Some are flossed. Not really my thing...but sometimes it's the only game in town for a chance at a hatchery steelhead. This is a hatchery feeder creek that dumps in to a large river. I just posted a video from when the water was much higher.
what were u using
Did you walk to the 1 spot where u got em or drive, planning on going later in dec
I plan to go there when open for the season.
Fly fishing with baitcasting equipment?👍🏻
It's baitcasting rod and reel buddy.
@@minhobbies3916 Yeah, but the way you are fishing is like fly fishing.
Oh, I see. You are right.
@@minhobbies3916 what’s the rating

Nice fish 🙂
Yes, thanks
What a shame what the Snoqualmie fishery has become. So sad.
Are you fishing the steelhead there or flawsing them
Some are flossed and some bite. They can get pretty snappy in that fast water.
Right
Pretty much flossing them.
@@minhchong4190 got it, was there a lot fish in the creek already

what exactly were you using was there last week but didnt get anything
It’s like a yellow jig or something I’m not sure
Was there crowded last week
Most people just floss there. Definitely cant fish a jig.
Looks like the Raging River. Game Department plants that stream heavy.
Just calling out spots over here so everyone and there mom can fish them great 👍🏼
Nice fish amigo
You are right Amigo.
Thanks.
