The lyrics are mixed between Bahasa and English. And the Bahasa part is actually critics to education in school, where there are certain expectations, like you need to be smart, you need to follow the rules, follow all the dogmas, etc. Parents with certain expectations, teachers with their own visions, they kind of forcing their own perceptions down to their throats. It was as if they are just mannequins, with no consciousness (thus the lyric "and my soul is empty") and it's up to other people to put them in certain pose. I think that's the symbolism of those mannequins in this MV. I think the part of the lyrics "And I lose my life", would fit so much the current situation of education in South Korea. From what I read, from middle school to high school, they would need to study until 1 AM/2AM. And they have high suicide level for teens. This is not happening in Indonesia, though in some big cities, where the kids usually would have lots of additional courses outside schools, like swimming lessons, musical instruments lessons, language lessons, vocal lessons, math/physics/chemistry lessons, but they're all usually finished by 7PM not 9PM or 11PM like in South Korea. While some kids on the suburban/villages in Indonesia, they are still able to have fun time after school, sometimes even TOO much fun time, LOL.
