You know I love me some Genre! Their quality is top-notch and their fragrances are just beautiful. I agree that Safe Haven needs to be in astringent form. Afternoon Swim and On the Beach sound like my next 2 genre purchases!

As soon as you said rosemary and lavender are in there, I was on board.
I recently got some strawberries that were on a $1 promotion and OMG biggest mistake ever. I've been battling fruit flies ever since, so lately I've been trying to wear things that have notes they don't like 2 scents fruit flies hate? Rosemary and lavender. Personally it's given me more of a reason to wear Flowerbomb and Libre since they both have a lavender note that does the job, but I'll take all of the options so that those little pests can stay away from me and get into the apple cider vinegar traps.
Omg, that $1 promotion came at the cost of fruit flies🤣 That's so irritating, lol. Ty for the tip about the lavender and rosemary though, I had no idea!! Sometimes if I leave a lime out, I get an outbreak of those pesky little things!
The On The Beach is a beautiful wear regardless, so 2 birds!😉
@@janelle-scenttalkfrommycloset I'm still mad. I've told everyone not to fall for it. It's all just a scam to make you spend more money on apple cider vinegar, bleach, bug lights, matches if you need to burn it all down 😔 (last resort and I'm rescuing my perfumes first)

Thank you! I am considering their Wood Sage and Sea Salt astringent. I am hoping it has a pronounced musk/ambrette like the original does on me. I have dupes from other brands (because the OG lasts all of 5 minutes on me) but they all do not have enough ambrette to be as musky as the OG is on me. I am also probably going to try LV On the Beach.
I hope this one works out nicely for you! I have the F'inery inspo of Wood Sage n sea salt and you're right, the musk isn't as defined. Hope this one pops! Let me know! 🤗

I love the idea of these astringents but none of the fragrances are appealing to me. I am crossing my fingers that I catch their next ordering window. Thank you for keeping us updated in that😘

Hey Janelle!!! So I just got my Day Three Fragrances discovery set!!!! Del Mar or Bani- which should I commit to first, like which do you reach for or layer with most? I love them both (though my kiddo has told me every time I have put Del Mar on that I smell ‘really good!’). Thanks (if you get a chance)!!!
