One time ISAB had to use the (then) world record least cash strat, on One Two Tree for the extra discount(s), to have one lick of a prayer of achieving it in a standard CHIMPS match like he had challenged himseof to do. It and its price is insane.
@casualmarkit9969 Its a shame. A fun tower. Not as fun as the TSG/VTSG, but fun nevertheless. Imagine getting a max 2221 TSG + a 1011 temple in chimps though.
My favorite trick with Spiked Mines is to overclock it at the end of r94 so that the overclock buff carries over to r95. You get a bunch of mines built up from the overclocked spactory, and then overclock should come off cooldown when the DDTs come on r95 if you time it right. It's like having two overclocks for the price of one.
Spiked mines carried my last chimps game on a custom map with overclocked dark champion + crossbow master, its the only reason i beat r63 and several other rounds (including 100)
"Supermines is just a little bit too expensive" yeah, just a bit, so much so its almost unaffordable without regrowfarming on even begginner maps

i've gotten super mines on infernal in a standard game of chimps before. Doing it on one two tree isn't that hard.

When you need ceramic clean up and when you cant afford permaspike, spiked mines > deadly spikes especially super ceramics
