Singers and Dancers should talk to the ice skaters --their management company puts them up in really nice hotel accommodations while rehearsing on land!!
I have seen them and I am jealous! Haha I think usually they rehearse on the ship though, unless it’s a new ship!
With one of the ice skaters who is on Utopia Jordan Bauth is employed by a different company. I think Royal can afford better accommodations for their singers and dancers for rehearsals or update these accommodations for their casts if they are on the same campus grounds as the rehearsal space. Royal would rather pay pennies for servers and other staff on board and pay cast dancers, singers & ice skaters a much better wage than their co-workers that keep food on the table for the entire crew on board and guests.

@@krista.jocelyn they do they arrive on the ship like i think 3 weeks before the last cast leaves so they can learn i follow jordan bauth
@@AmandaMolly no offense but these are professionals where the food service people are just that food service ppl they are also usually from other countries than the US were alot performers are from the US were the money they make on board exchanges to a bigger amount
The alcohol policy seems a lot more strict than when I worked on ships back in the 90’s. But perhaps that’s a good thing. Also, the accommodations they house you in remind me of a college dorm room. I think they could do better. Best of luck on your new contract Krista & Robert and thanks for sharing it out.
When I was performing bangs were an asbolute pain in the arse to deal with. I HATED pinning them back into my prep. Its actually the reason I grew mine all out to one length - but my hair is naturally curly so my hair is probably way different than yours
Those iguanas are just a welcome to Florida lol 😂 not to freak you out but the general rule of thumb that we follow here is that if you see a cockroach, it means that there are too many hiding, and they are being pushed out. I would recommend getting some traps or spray, keep food away, in the fridge, etc., no crumbs, don’t leave clothes on the floor, and vacuum.
I don't know why the iguanas freak me out so much, they're pretty harmless haha but omg nooooo...thankfully Robert is from Florida so he makes sure we keep all the food away and everything, but I think I'll get some traps and more spray! Thank you!!
At least you're not there in a cold snap when the iguanas are falling from trees., that was something I dont need to ever experience again in my lifetime.

@krista.jocelyn They're not dead just cold blooded so lifeless when it's really cold. But spring back to life once they get warm.

You crack me up with the Cockroach I remember when I first moved to Louisiana from Ohio I thought I was going to pass out when I found those in my apartment myself lol. I I think the Iguanas are cool though!
They are so gross! haha I'm getting a bit more used to the Iguanas!
On a previous video/short, you mentioned shoe fittings? How does that work? Is it like costume fittings?
Also, what do you do about your nails for 6+ months on a ship!?
For the shoe fitting we just try on each of our shoes here in the studios but for costumes we do all of that on the ship and the costumers fit them when we get onboard! For nails, I rarely get mine done, but since I'll be in the US every week I'd probably get them done in Florida every few weeks!

In FL, that is a tiny, tiny bug. A cockroach or water bug would have truly driven you over the edge. Natives learn to deal with it.! That isn't much consolation, tho', is it? (Three duty tours in Miami)
The small cockroach already threw me over the edge!! hahah but I'm trying to be less dramatic about it in the future 🥲😂
Hi, I am interested in auditioning for a cruise line as a singer, I started to watch your videos and they’re so useful for me; but I live in Italy, so it’s difficult for me to be noticed by an international cruise line; do you have any advice for agencies to contact or websites to look for? Thank you very much!!
Its not the bugs you have to worry about in Florida, its the alligators. Anyway, other than House of the Dragon, what other series do you binge watch? One of my favs was Lucifer, highly recommend if you haven't seen it.
Will the bangs make it harder to do your hair for your shows?
We mostly wear wigs so I can just pin them back!

I tried the clindamyacin face wipes and it made my eyes all red and itchy.
Wait really? My derm told me to put it on the redness!! 🤦🏻♀️
@@krista.jocelyn yep! I thought it was just drying my skin out but no matter how much lotion I used my eyes were so dry and irritated they hurt. Then I stopped the clindamyacin wipes and my eyes went back to normal. So definitely worth a try stopping it and seeing if your eyes get better too!
The roach is called palmmeto bug ie roach but roaches that fly
Bugs have 0 carbs and a decent amount of protein. Meat of the future!!

haha maybe once we learn everything! And I haven't seen any in the kitchen... just on my pillow 😭😭 haha
I’ve been wondering the same thing. Don’t be afraid to sing for us while you’re practicing. You can get good feedback from your viewers!
Eye redness could be from the raid you sprayed directly on your pillow/bed…
Hahah very true but it was happening before then 😞 And I changed the sheets and pillowcase’s immediately😅

Yes, I think some whispy bangs, not a lot of hair,..You have a high forehead so I think you would look great with some bangs
Alcohol is tough on the vocal chords, dehydrates them. Less of it the better for singers.

It looks like a Palmetto Bug. They are hideous and scary but totally harmless.
Maybe your makeup is contaminated ...it happens!
