Your English lyric is so Great. It has more philosophical flavor than the original. You make this cover version like a Zen Prayer, like a Living Guide. It covers many Japanese Concepts; Ikigai, Wabisabi, Ichigo Ichie.

One of the things I love most about Will's covers is how he manages to achieve a perfect blend of translating meaning but using words that still sound similar when spoken, compared to the original lyrics. It's a masterpiece all on its own.
On that note, I wonder why matsuri wasn't translated. I genuinely felt it wouldn't have been out of place, its syllables wouldn't change and you can achieve a similar sound with the same intonation.
@@sovereignsloth4822 I kind of like how he kept it bc it’s the main hook of the song. Also the song in general has a traditional Japanese vibe so it still fits even if the rest of the lyrics are in English

OMG, I keep on coming back to this it's so good!!! Your Fujii Kaze covers are so incredible, I adore the way you pronounce Matsuri. That art is so stunning too. This delivery couldn't have been easy given you gotta make sure the meaning and vibe come through on top of making it not awkward-sounding in English. And then there's the performance aspect as well. Your Shinunoga cover was good but still had some rough spots in terms of the delivery of some English phrases but this one almost has none. Well effing done! 👏
