Yay this works but I did run into a small problem I don't know if it was the mod, more likely it was but for some reason my avatar would not show up and turn into a Steve Avatar when loaded into the world with a mod also if you want to install more mods I'm guessing it's the situation where do you have to uninstall the game and reinstall it in order to have other mods show up later.
Otherwise everything works this video was awesome thank you from the fox 🦊 ❤
Yaaay! 🥳✨️🌟 oh yeah so some mods are just weird and they break character creation, but it's only for some mods 🤷♂️ it might have to do with the three dimensional armors they program in not sure. You should turn off your setting on your xbox that automatically updates your games and apps so you can make sure your Microsoft store doesn't update - the store itself is the problem with recent updates - hope this helps! 😄👍🌟
i wasn’t downloading dragons i was trying to do better on bedrock mod. the issue i had was after going to check the packages, i had the file in the resource pack folder but the behavior pack folder was empty.

I have a problem where when i click "update" for the special minecraft, it makes me install the gamepass minecraft (1.82gb) and it just wont let me update the special minecraft whatsoever. do you have a fix for this?

That's what you want to happen.
Once it updates you can launch it and the resource packs should be avaliable.

When I download the version of Minecraft to allow mods, it gives me an error and shows an exclamation mark on the game in the my games an apps section and requires me to update the game before playing and when I update the game, it downloads the gamepass version of the game. A while back, the way I used to fix this was by pausing the update and deleting the version that had the error, then continuing the update. This used to allow me to play with mods, but that doesn't work anymore and I'm not sure why this is happening.
I tried resetting my xbox and that didn't work. I feel like it could be some sort of conflict with the saved data on the game and my Xbox causing the initial error with that version of the game, but I have no idea what possibly to do.

So there’s one more folder called DB in the mod. I think it’s the one with all the custom blocks and textures and stuff. What folder should I put this in? It’s already in MinecraftWorlds but should I move it to somewhere else?
So I just checked and for some reason none of the behavior packs or resource packs installed. The world was created and I can go in to it but all custom blocks and music are replaced.
Hmmm I think the only time I see db folders is for worlds so I think you would have to add the db folder to whatever world folder you are looking to mod 😁

@@iRubisco So I ended up being able to port the world successfully and just a few things are missing (like 1 or 2 textures). There were also some bugs because it’s in its beta (I helped with VA) so some of it might have been that.
Hey so when ever I get to the reinstall glitch I able to do everything correctly but when I open Minecraft none of my mods are there idk what I can do

I remember the pack being nice because usually when you pressed install it set up the folder path for you - otherwise, you'll have to create the folder path manually 😅
@@iRubisco I did the steps and the packages folder didn't come out on the top of the folder direction, is there a way to do it manually?
@@sickasus1958 sure thing! If you go to "This Device" and then "Local" or straight to the "Local folder, you can create "Packages" then "Microsoft.MinecraftUWPConsole...." the "LocalState" "games" and then com.mojang and the folders inside there 😁✨️👍
I just found and invented my own fix to a problem I found. There's a new issue where the xbox rejects a download, where when you install the "cracked" minecraft, it immediately cancels it automatically. The fix is to start installing the real minecraft, then while it's downloading, start installing the cracked version, then cancel the installation of the real one
I don’t have the local folder at all and I can’t put it under this device. So without that there is nowhere to put the packages folder
it took some work but i managed to get the correct version of minecraft but it required an update as soon as a booted it up? is this going to make it not work?
The main thing now is to not let your store update - I paused my store update, waiting for the special version of minecraft to finish installing and then canceled my store update completely - the store is what breaks it 😵💫 check out my most recent short so you can see more on it if you're having more problems 😁👍✨️
When I try to download it said the specified file name is to long or a component of the specified path is too long
Is it for a specific mod? What type of file is it? If it's a .zip, you'll have to extract it instead and then copy and paste the folders from inside it to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folder inside the com.mojang folder 😁👍
I've been able to install a resource pack that says it works for BE (the pack is Better Trees), however when I load up Minecraft it doesn't appear within my resource packs. I have it installed and it is within the minecraft resource_packs folder, but for whatever reason despite be uninstalling and reinstalling it it doesn't work. :')

@@iRubisco i have seen it but can't do what was said and I'm trying not 2 reset my console unless there's no alternative. i have XIH and I'm lvl 3 in it with 0 programs joined rn i've tried restarts, different addons within minecraft, even a console update and it cancels it every time once it hits the top of the queue
@@jfd935 shoot! Idk mate it may be a console reset then and not allowing your store to update - otherwise, you can try some of my weirder methods in this video i go over somewhere in the middle 😄 hope something works out for you!

@@jfd935 oooh I gotcha! I haven't tried skins since the latest changes to the processes - I remember doing a video on it last year and it was a slightly different process than everything else 🤔 maybe I'll make a video on it soon! I have a list of videos I got to make and working on now 😄🥳
On mine it shows a green install button and upon clicking it it will turn black and say installing view in queue but half a second after it will revert to the green install button I've been able to click on the queue button fast enough but it shows nothing no special minecraft no installation stopped nothing I don't think the install even started any fixes?

I finally got both Minecraft installed but the special version of Minecraft whenever I tried to click it. It says it needs to update it fully updates and then when I try to click it again, it says update again. Anyone know how to fix it? It has a white triangle with an ! ⚠️At the bottom right of the game.

Hmmm what type of file or folder is it? Usually you want .mcpack .mcworld. .mcaddon .mcskin or .zip

Hi normaler! Try checking out my most recent short I made about this. It's all because of a Microsoft store update that interferes with the installation of the proper version of minecraft for whatever reason. I plan on making more follow-up tips and tricks as soon as I find them!

Yo just for fun, have you tried the following: Just double check to make sure about the devices by following the below
Sign in to the Device page with your Microsoft account:
Sign in
Find the device you want to remove, and then select Unlink.
Review your device details, select Unlink again, and then select OK.
Try downloading the game or app again.
Do this but when your in the devices page goto the one where it says Microsoft store management and remove any unknown devices in there

Hi Dwayne! 👋 😁 there are some things you can do for it! It's not in this one but I'll make a video for you ✨️ just curious, do you have a bunch of extra media downloaded on your xbox? Like photos, videos, music, or mods/downloads for games?
If so try this, I recommend that you try clearing your local saves (cloud saves will remain so no worries so long as you're connected to the internet) and then uninstall the games, restart the console and then re-download the games.
To clear local saves:
Go to Settings > System > Storage > Clear local saved games Don't be surprised, but this will restart your console when applied.
Let me know if you're willing to give this a try and let me know if works for you! 😁👍✨️
Also if you've just downloaded your localsave max on your minecraft for mods and stuff, you can go to your downloads and My expansions area od expansion for explorers and delete everything- it will take a bit because it loads every time you delete something 🤦♂️

Weird! Sounds like a new issue I'm gonna have to look into! Did you try resetting your xbox and keep your games and apps? Then not letting the store or other apps update except when you download the specific version of minecraft?

@@iRubisco the problem isn't with the version of minecraft, my problem is with installing the mod on expansion for explorers, because since I have to install the mod that I want from the mcpedl website itself instead of linkvertise or mediafire, but when I try to press the files to install them nothing happens on expansion for explorer

Game card won't appear again till you update. Try restarting console and trying the process again.

The link shows around 4:40 and from what I remembered, the consoleshader file was poggers cause it usually sets up the extra game folders inside expansion for you 😄 hope it helps you! ✨️

For me, it still says permissions not allowed even after making the folders
You probably named one of the folders wrong - triple double check you didn't misspell, include extra spaces etc!
If that doesn't work, try repeating downloading the mod and then installing again - you can always extract and copy and paste the extracted folder into the behavior and resource packs folder 😄

Hey I just wanted to point out an issue with dowloading the special version of minecraft. So it says that I can dowload it but when I click it it says its in the queue right? I have to look into realms, BUT if you download the mods etc and start and world, turn on the setting that makes your friends download the resource packs when joining: They should be able to play and use the mods along side you in a non realm world 🌎 🥳 but I'll look into the realm thing! 🌟

Hey Patrick! 👋 😄 unfortunately it does seem to be different for a lot of people right now - some people have luck following my short fix but others have to reset their xbox right now whereas some people can have gamepass run in the background while installing the specific version of MC! Hoping a new and better workaround comes soon 😄 I'm always doing research both by looking up stuff, testing, and I'll release any fixes I ever find! 🤓

Whenever I am able to download the specific version of Minecraft. I go ahead and uninstall the game pass version.
When I try to start up the mod friendly Minecraft version, it asks for a Minecraft update. If I choose “update”, whenever that finishes, the game version has switched back to the game pass version.
I actually did the whole process of installing game pass version, then mod version, deleted game pass version, updated mod friendly version, and now the only Minecraft version on my Xbox is the game pass version….
I think the “update” converts the Minecraft version but can’t verify what the actual issue is
Re: for some reason, the version updates back to gamepass version, however the mods show up anyway and worked? Unsure how that works out
