We are Christians and my youngest daughter has gone to work as a live in nanny for a Jewish family. Your videos have really helped with joining in with the family. Thank you x
That is wonderful! As a Jewish person who is alone I should go work for a Jewish family to get some Jewish togetherness.
Thank You Deborah ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The table setting is beautiful❤! Tell your daughter good job!
The table setting is stunning.
The table looks so beautiful and elegant. Great job!
She did well with the flower napkin.
thank you so so much!
Yes. She is incredibly talented!!! 🥰

Though I am Ashkenaz, I absolutely _love_ so many of the Sephardic customs and traditions. While both of our traditions are special, it’s just amazing to learn about what makes us all unique. Judaism is definitely _not_ a monolith but is a tapestry of amazing people with varied backgrounds and traditions. 😊
Sara, I truly thank you for helping to share the beauty of Judaism with the world! Everything you do is bringing light into the world and showing them the beauty of HaShem and Judaism!!!! It is my fervent hope that your efforts will help people discover that Jews aren’t the ‘evil’ of the world, and thereby reduce antisemitism.
The world is becoming increasingly antisemitic, which frightens me for my son, and it is my fervent hope that through exposure to Jews through social media (because of wonderful, brave creators like you) that antisemitism will be reduced after people can see we’re people just like them! 😊
TYSM for your creations on RUclips!
Dear Sisterspooky, I very much resonated with your comment and agree wholeheartedly! You said it very well, thank you! Shavua Tov and Shana Tova!
You are so amazing my sweet sister ❤️❤️❤️
I couldn’t say it any better! Terrific.
@@Shoshi2048 - TYSM! Shanah Tova to you and yours! 😊

Your videos are always so calming, and as a non Jew I am always intrigued and fascinated by how lovingly and respectful you speak about your religion and everything connected to it. Thank you :)
I was coming here to say the same thing.
Thank you sweet songbird❤️❤️❤️
Your daughter did excellent. She carries herself with grace and elegance, just like her mummy. Beautiful family! May God bless you and protect you!❤
My mothers mother was Jewish but we never practiced. This is my first Rosh HaShana and your video has given me so many great ideas! Shana Tova!!
I am so grateful the video can inspire !
Shana tova U’metuka to you and your family ❤️❤️❤️
I absolutely love learning about Jewish traditions. As a Christian, I feel a kinship towards God’s chosen people. I am so hungry to learn all that I can about your history and how intimately the Bible (Torah) and God’s teachings are woven into your everyday life. I feel as a Christian, we could do so much more to live “biblically”. Thank you for sharing your life with us and teaching all of us more about our Almighty Father!
i feel the exact same way! well said.
@taradiane me too!
I am a Christian but love learning about the Jewish faith. It just seems so comforting and such a warm faith to all. I must admit I’ve fallen down a proverbial rabbit hole and would love to learn even more. Thankyou for sharing!
I love new beginnings! As an Orthodox Jew, I love the sound of the shofar. It thrills my soul.
We are Christian’s and we are learning about the different Jewish holidays in our curriculum so this was wonderful to learn about!!!
Happy to help Claire!
My mother used to say "colors influence mood"
How right she was !
Highest blessings to you and your family 🕯
I agree with your mom❤️❤️❤️
I’m Jewish and know all the info in your videos(except for a few Ashkenazi/Sephardi differences) but your videos are so wonderful and comforting. I use your videos to help educate my non Jewish friends about Judaism.

@@frumitup Hello and happy new year. Can your daughter show us ladies how she makes those beautiful napkin flowers Thank you from Greece
I LOVE NEW BEGINNINGS. I am a Catholic but have always loved the Jewish religion, I would convert but the rest of my family does not want to. So I have to seek comfort in learning through wonderful families like yourself. I loved how you took the time to explain each step, especially with the foods you eat and their meanings. I feel this is so important to help us understand and appreciate the effort you put into your special occasions. Thank you so much again for making us feel part of your world. Love and blessings from the uk 🇬🇧❤
Katherine, I am Church of England, and have always loved the Jewish religion like you! I am also in the UK. Here’s to New Beginnings!
Aww thank you so much @Katherine ❤️❤️❤️
Sara Malka, I would like to thank you. You have become an influence to me. I am attempting to be more modest, more religious, and just a better me. And I owe HaShem and you a deep debt. Todah Rabbah! L'Shanah Tovah!!!
your comment made me cry Anita: you are the reason i do what is do : thank YOU for being here and may H' bless you in all you need and more! xoxoxox
Couldn’t have said it better but feel the same. Learning so much. How beautiful that you are teaching the world the truth from the Torah.
Your daughter does a very good job setting the table!
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing all of the customs and their meanings. I’m a Serbian Orthodox Christian, and we too, have a rich history of customs. Truthfully, my life would be so plain and less meaningful without it. I hope you and your family had a beautiful and blessed holiday.
Shalom! I'm also a Sefardic Jew, but I'm not Orthodox. It was very educational and interesting to know your family's personal traditions. שנה טובה ימתוקה
Leah's place settings were lovely. My dog, Clara, reacted to the horn blowing almost as if she was hearing music. It was a fun moment.
You know I realize what Judaism does is constantly celebrate life and creates meaning and purpose to daily life. You are consciously practicing your beliefs daily in order to remain compliant. I appreciate that so much!
I absolutely love all your traditions. I'm Catholic but have a Jewish sister in law who hasn't been well for the past few years, so this year I plan to take over her duties including using your challah recipe. Thank you so much for this peek into your traditions. It's all so beautiful and your daughter is a treasure.
She is so lucky to have you sweet Ann ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am a catholic with spiritual interests in Jewish life, having been brought up in a Jewish neighborhood at one point and working with Jewish friends...I have always enjoyed both sets of holidays and incorporate them into my daughter's life to share with her friends, thus multi culture becomes easier for you to share and not judge...your youtube thoughts could not have come at a better time as my daughter and I just sat down to have her son put together Friday's menu...thank you for showing me some more ideas...each time I watch I think of my grandmother who worked with Jewish friends and how specifically she cooked and always brought to her table foods and the settings a special way...she never explained why until I was engaged and inherited their gifts from these friends and then understood her style of cooking and entertaining...thank you again for your content...my one question would be where do you purchase your clothing and head scarves 💚✨️
The flower napkins are beautiful!
I am not a religious person at all, but it’s been a wonderful learning experience watching your videos. Personally I don’t think I could remember all the rules, nor adhere by them on the daily, but I respect your way of life immensely.
Also, you have a very soothing and beautifully gentle voice; it seems to match your soul. Love from Australia!
Awwww thank you ❤️❤️❤️

“I love new beginnings” Todah Rabah & L’Shanah Tovah !
Lea did such beautiful work on the table! (Leah? Léa? Leia? Sorry, I’m sure I’ve spelled it wrong 😅) The flower napkins are a lovely, memorable detail and show how much care and thought she put into making the setting special for her family 😊
It's so important for children to have responsibility and then the praise for the jobs they do. ❤
I love new beginnings, and all I learn in your videos! Not only do I constantly learn about Jewish customs, beliefs, and traditions (I’m a Christian, but am enthralled by all you teach us), I also learn tons of helpful cooking and household tips! 😁 I’ve saved MANY of your videos for cooking/meal prep/housekeeping tips/tricks! Thank you for sharing your joy and faith with us! ❤ *PS, I always love your daughter’s tablescapes! What an artistic talent she has! 😊
My son says, “I love this show. I like the white dress. I especially like the bug show.” He loves your channel so much, and he finds your videos so relaxing. Thank you for sharing your traditions with us, and we hope you have a wonderful new year! ❤

The sound of the Shofar... made my skin tingle and my soul felt a thrill... as if it were a sound that has passed down through the millennia, calling not only to Jews but to all people. 💜
Please thank your husband and children for us. We really appreciate the effort that is made to share and educate this community.
I love the table preparation
I love new beginnings
Happy New Year to you and your lovely family
This was a really beautiful video. For Rosh Hashanah this year, I’m studying a sefer about the holiday itself and I’m really learning a lot. It’s called Rosh Hashanah: Its Significance, Laws and Prayers and it’s got a lot about how different Jewish communities around the globe celebrate Rosh Hashanah. I’ve always been of the opinion that diversity within the Jewish community is absolutely something to be celebrated, so when I saw that it made me a happy Jew. I’d love to see you do a bookshelf tour video sometime
What a wonderful job she did on the table! Thank you for sharing. I find your videos so peaceful. Thank you so much for continuing to share
Thank you so much Cindy!
I’m Christian, I just happened to come across your video. I thank you for sharing and explaining the meal for Rosh Hashanah. Stay blessed 🙏🏽
Hello dear.. my name is Christina I'm from Egypt .. you are a super kind person and your sweet girl did amazing with the table.. God bless u all .. sending a hug from Egypt to u ❤❤
I can’t quite put it into words, Sarah, but this video of your faith traditions touched me deeply! How incredibly blessed you are to have these rituals and perform them in such a loving a reverent way. I love news beginnings, and this can be a new beginning for all of us, as we work towards a stronger, more intimate relationship with God! Thank you for this beautiful video! ♥️

I love the white dresses and head coverings! It’s modest and fashionable. The flower napkins your daughter makes add such a pretty touch to your table decor! I love new beginning’s.

@@frumitup Your so welcome! ❤️
I had tears in my eyes as your husband blew the shofar…. As a Christian, I so appreciate our Jewish roots. La Shana Tova, may your New Year be sweet and blessed.
Shabbat Shalom & Lashana Tovah! 🕊️🕎
I have remembered the Shofar since I was a kid. I used to be a fundamentalist Christian and There was a group that would go to churches and demonstrate Jewish customs. I find that your rituals and community are amazing. Communities also have the Chaverim. What a great concept. I wish I had community like that. You are blessed to be a Doctor and have a beautiful family. I have no idea how you balance all that time. You are amazing.
The blowing of Shofar! You are such a blessing to me, Sara! G-d be with you and bless and keep you and your family!
Thank you so much! you are a blessing to me too sweet Elaine :) xoxoxox
Leah did a wonderful job with the tablescape! I love it when you said those placemats and chargers were from the Dollar Store, it shows what you can do with an eye for beauty. Give your daughter a hug for me!
Done and she tells you THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️
Of course Leah’s napkins are always beautiful. Wonderful place settings.
The ram sounds also very moving please say “Thank you “ to your husband.
I am so thankful to you for this beautiful experience sharing God’s love. I’m learning from a Rabbi about how both the Old and New Testament coexist and now as a non Jewish person understand my faith in a way I never had before. I bless you both and send love to all. ❤
I love new beginnings! Please tell your daughter she did an outstanding job setting the beautiful table and that I Love her flower design napkins! I hope that you and your family will have a fruitful and happy new year. Sending love from Memphis~
Joyous and blessed Rosh Hashanah to you and your family! Liturgical Christians will celebrate our new year in November with the First Sunday of Advent to begin lighting the blue candles in the Advent Wreath, one for each week, and a white candle in the center on Christmas Eve. In my family traditions we also have lights on the house to symbolize the light of the Messiah, with a special blue string around the door that we change to multicolored at midnight Christmas Eve. The liturgy used in churches changes and we enjoy a ton of beautiful Advent hymns, as well as Psalms, and other Scripture. The food, the decorations, the crafts, I love it all. I love new beginnings!
Since you light a lamp or candle for each family member, is it SO exciting to buy and start lighting another when you have a baby? It sounds so special
I love New Beginnings 🤍
How could I possibly pick a favorite part?
🤍I will say the sound and meaning behind the blowing of the shofar left me with tears.
🤍Also, your beautiful white dresses to sit at the King's table made me misty as well.
🤍Lea's beautiful table scape and folding of the napkins was lovely. So much talent in her hands and eyes.
Thank you for bringing the beauty and richness of this holiday to us 🕊️🤍
awwwww: your comment brought me to tears: thank you for your kindness, thank you for being here : your words really moved me xoxoxo
🤍
I love new beginnings! Your daughter set the table beautifully. Thank you for sharing not only the “what” but the “why” in your videos. I always look forward to your videos because of your calm demeanor and I know I will learn something new. ❤
I think children who are raised with this much faith, teaching, and family unity, must have a blessed life, unlike many who are not raised knowing G-d.
Have blessed high holidays with love ❤ I'm Christian and adore learning about our Jewish brothers and sisters. 🕊💐💞
My favorite preparations you do before Rosh Hashana is the blowing of the shofars because the sound demands all our attention on G-d and I really like that. ❤ from Maryland 🇺🇸.
Irish Catholic Me: as usual I’ve learned, appreciated, drew connections to your terrific post. The customs, brightness of whiteness, celebratory nature, your beautiful home and family - also saying a wee prayer for your neighbors with the majestic albeit loud ram’s horn being blown 100 times (hoping they’re Jewish too!), and the traditional food was fascinating, although you lost me on the fish heads :)
I hear you the fish head is not the easiest part !!
THANK YOU FOR ALL THE EXPLANATION.. VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.. AND MAY GOD OF ABRAHAM ISAAC AND JACOB HELP AND HEAL EVERYONE AND BRING PEACE TO ISRAEL AND THE WHOLE WORLD. AMEN SHALOM ALELUYA ❤❤❤
Italian/Spaniard Dutch Jewish American born 😊 messianic sending much love.Loving the chanel!❤ Happy Rosh Hashana.
The blowing of the Shofar was incredible ! 🌟 🌟🌟🌟
I love new beginnings! Thank you for sharing your family's traditions with us!
I know that this is totally inconsequential, but you’re family is so beautiful! I don’t think we’ve seen your husband so clearly before and all I can say is that between the two of you, it’s no wonder your children are so gorgeous!
This is so interesting as someone who knows very little about your culture, it's wonderful how you still keep such ancient traditions alive and the meanings are so beautiful, thank you for sharing with us.
Your videos are like a trip to the spa for me! I loved watching Leah prepare the table, and especially the flower napkin. Wow! I’ve never heard the Shofar combination! I agree, it’s very spiritual; such an incredible connection to our ancestors. I just love learning about all the traditions! Wishing you and your family a most blessed Rosh Hosannah!
Absolutely magnificent! So meaningful, I am catholic but am incredibly moved by the symbolism ❤ your daughter should be proud of her table setting👏🏻
Your daughter did a great job with the table. Learned many things. Not Jewish, but a spiritual Jew. I could listen to you all day. You are so calm. Thank you for sharing your spiritual journey. God Bless.
I love new beginnings. I am a Christian, and I love learning about Jewish traditions. Shana Tova.
I love new beginnings. I love hearing the Shofar. It brings lots of emotions to me, and make the hairs on my arm stand to attention. Have a wonderful Rosh Hashanah, from your Ashkenazi brother.
What a beautiful table, she did a great job. I hope you all have a blessed, healthy, and successful year.
Love the traditions you hold, and how scared they are to the Jewish people, and to your family. Actually watched twice, second time was to count the number of times you said Rosh Hashanah 47 times 🫣
WOW I'm blown away by so many rituals and intrigued at the same time.
My ancestors complained about keeping ten little commandments of which they didn't keep!!! So, we the descendants had to pay their debts, but it will get better. I enjoyed watching!!!😊
Leah set the table beautifully. What a special way to welcome the holiday. 🍎 🍯 ❤
I love new beginnings..........the table settings & the sounds of the Shofar are beautiful; thanks to your daughter & husband for sharing their talents.
Leah did such a good job with setting the table and the way she did the napkins is sooo pretty
Good to see your new video! I have been watching you for a while (and cook salmon the way how you did show - like it). Recently talked with my friend and her daughter (her daughter is very strict in following the orthodox rules). I mentioned your video, my friend asked me to share the link - but we found that this young lady - the daughter - already watches your videos. Good to know.
that is such a cute story: :) thank you for sharing it! and thank you for sharing my videos with your friends and family : you are sooooo WOnderful! xoxoxoxo
I love new beginnings! So educational! I only have one critique! Your videos aren’t long enough! I could watch your videos all day! Which I’ve done a few times! 😁❤️👍🌹🌹🌹🌹. I love listening to your videos as I work on my pricing of items that I sell in my Antique store booth! 😁❤️
Rosh Hashanah 🎉🎉🎉🎉 From Pakistan
Your daughter set a gorgeous table and I love the lotus flower design of the napkin. I make this napkin design too. I used to live in an orthodox Jewish area in south Florida but never knew about all the details of these holidays. I am Christian but am learning that so many things in the Bible are tied to Jewish feasts. May you have a blessed Rosh Hashanah Thank you for the video.
Your daughter always does a good setting up the table. So beautiful. I love New Beginnings ❤
Leah's skills are amazing! I also love new beginnings too and thank you for sharing how you celebrate Rosh Hashanah with us :) Shana tovah to you all ❤
Goodness your husband looks like such a kind and humble man
Leia did wonderfully with setting the table. The flower napkin was the perfect touch.
Coincidentally, I was recently reading through a children's book of Jewish holidays that I bought as a teaching aid for my classroom (I teach middle school social studies, and one of the units we cover is world religions). I was just reading about Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The timing of this video couldn't have been better! Also, your husband's demonstration of the shofar blowing sequence put into visual and audio reality what I read in the book, but couldn't figure out on my own.
Shana Tova to you and your family, Sara!
Aww thank you sweet Tamara, shana tova to you and your family ❤️
I love new beginnings. Though not Jewish I do feel a spirituality when watching your videos. Loved your outfits and your daughter did a wonderful job decorating rhe table and the beautiful napkins. Blessings to you and your family and hope you have a joyous and peaceful Rosh Hashanah.

Obrigada por compartilhar esse lindo vídeo 👏🏻🤩😊
Thank you. It was such a trip in time. The horn… it’s like being taken back thousands of yours. Your culture is ancient. I’d say one of the oldest surviving. Wow, I’m very impressed. You must be doing something right. :)
Thank you for sharing your life and home with me. I've been really struggling lately and your message of love has brought a bright spot to my life.
Thank you, that was very interesting! I didn't expect the Shofar to be so loud! Leah did such a great job of setting the table and I loved the napkin flower! Wearing white was the thing that resonated most with me about Rosh Hashanah.😊 I love new beginnings.
I love new beginnings!
I loved everything about this vlog, the traditions & meanings ,the beautiful tablescape ,which was made even more beautiful by your talented daughter, the shovar, which had a mesmerizing quality to it for me, your beautiful white outfits, just everything made me think that there is still such beauty, grace & traditions being carried out in this sometimes ugly world.
Thank you for reminding me that all is not lost! I wish many blessings to you & yours in the new year.

You're so welcome Sully!
I find the Jewish faith is really great. I want to learn more. Your meals looks so good.
The flower napkin is a massive yey from me. Leah did a 'proper braw' job (braw is Scots for good). Happy memories of my godmother teaching me how to make the flower napkin 🏵️
Sara you are an inspiration to all your viewers. Our Lord works through you to glorify Himself by showing us the joy in our covenant with Him. Your videos have helped me - as a working mother it is easy to become complacent about the things in our life that overwhelm us. Remembering that this work is for a joyful purpose helps renew my love for my vocation. God bless you and your family - enjoy your High Holy Days and have a blessed new year!
Shanah Tovah! Thank you for explaining all of your Sephardic family’s customs :)
You are so welcome! And thank YOU Anna to be here ! xoxoxoxo
Washing the fruit and vegetables to the degree that you do, checking for disease and insects. Although what goes into a man or women does not defile them but rather what comes out of their mouth; I thought the washing was so good especially the thoroughness! May the Lord Bless you and watch over you and your beautiful family. Ian from Kansas City
Your life is so amazing. So full of faith and beauty and symbolism. Pray the richest blessing of the Most High God on you and yours.
I love new beginnings!! Thank you for the continued education on your Jewish traditions and customs. I’m fascinated to learn so many new things! Your religion is steeped in rich and thoughtful traditions. Have a blessed Rosh Hashana 🫶🏼
