    My problem is condenser was leaking when I installed a new condenserit's no longer taking the freon it's fun engaging my compressor was engaging with the original condenser that was in there a week agoand I was told I would have air in the system and it won't engage unless I take all the air out of it

    • @OnlineAutoRepairVideos
      @OnlineAutoRepairVideos  4 года назад

      It would still engage, as long as there is enough freon in the system. How are you adding freon?

    • @cruzeman7437
      @cruzeman7437 4 года назад

      @@OnlineAutoRepairVideos there was no freon in the system period

      @@OnlineAutoRepairVideos well the first time I added freon to it with the back of denser it was accepting the freon it was engaged and it got cold for 20 seconds to her the hissing coming out of the condenser because I seen a wet spot on the front of my brand new radiator that the condenser was facing and since I put the new condenser it won't take freon no or engaged now

      @@OnlineAutoRepairVideos the thing is I put my hose on freon can didn't put a hole in the seal so when I taking the hose off the can no freon sprayed out of the cans like it should so I assum my house is broke or bad

    Those A/C line next to the condenser are a real pain to undo the mounting nuts. Likewise, the hi pressure port is almost impossible to get to. Worked on an 03 turbo and 07 base model. Too much plumbing on the turbos for me.

      Good thing I haven't had the pleasure to work on a turbo version yet, but thanks for the warning!

    Nice video, but what happened to a vacuum?

  • @erics9213
    @erics9213 4 года назад

    Do you ever pull a vacuum on the system before charging? Also, 134a is a blend is why you charge as a liquid vs R12. Same with R22 and R410a for residential. Cool videos!

    Thanks... How do you remove the High Side line on my 2003 PT Cruiser Turbo... My High Side Line busted Yesterday and it's pain in the rear to get this hose out because of all the metal bends in this hose? With this being a 2.4L Turbo, it seems like there is no easy way to remove this line. I'm thinking the only way to remove this line is to unbolt from the ac compresson, which I have done. Now with the line disconnected, I'm thinking the only way to get this line out is remove the Fan shroud and flip it up and over towards the battery. Any help is greatly appreciated. Can't take it out via the passenger side because the Power Steering pump is in the way. Thanks for your help. I can send you pictures if I had an email address. Thx :)
    Love all your video's. :)

      @@STL88ALDEN I ended up taking the entire front of the PT Cruiser apart - Bumper, Grille, Condenser, Radiator and fan. Then it was just a matter of fishing it through. It's been over a year since I did this, so I don't remember exactly how I accomplished it. I do remember lots of patience and time, though. Hope that helps... :)

    Stupid question bro does the AC refrigerant line that fills up with freon does that go on the top hole of the condenser or does it go on the bottom when I do not remember it's been a long day outside in the heat I can't find a diagram for it

      @OnlineAutoRepairVideos  4 года назад

      LOL, yeah it's hot here as well! Yours is the same size, and we didn't show it in the video?

      @@OnlineAutoRepairVideos I found a video and it showed the bottom Short line that connects to the bottom part of the compressor goes on the top I need to check and see cuz I think if you have that hose on top and other one on the bottom I think it would cause your compressor not to work right

    Do you have to add any pag oil when replacing the suction hose? I just replaced my compressor and accumulator with the required amounts of oil but after the recharge all of the refrigerant leaked out from the suction line. It started out with 6oz of oil and now I don’t know how much is left.

    • @OnlineAutoRepairVideos
      @OnlineAutoRepairVideos  6 лет назад

      Hi Chris Warriner, you can add the amount of oil that was lost (what was in the old hose, which shouldn't be too much.
