- This is my review of the new premium master grade series from Jazwares. These new figures are Midas Rex, Oro, and Zero. Each figure has a unique gimmick and comes with more accessories than the standard solo figures. Each figure comes in a display box.

I agree with your assessment of these. I did not pick up the Zero but got Rex and Oro when they first appeared on Amazon.
Midas Rex was definitely a mistake in my opinion. I would much rather have a dedicated 'armor' body and head for him as the pieces limit his articulation slightly and just make him look too bulky and awkward.
Oro is a fantastic figure, but honestly, the accessories and cool factor only bring him up to maybe a $19.99 value in my mind. Certainly not the $24.99 that I paid. Perhaps if I were an 'in package' collector, it would add value as the packaging is beautiful and impressive. ...But I am an opener, so, for me, all it adds is bulk.

I like that the Cosmic Llama harvesting tool lights up as well as Zero. Very cool!
They could have fit the light in the chest and kept the articulation
Quick search seems to indicate that the CE marking is used by the UK to indicate that certain safety standards have been met. The mark is probably required on this figure because of the use of batteries/electronics. Which would explain why it has to be on the torso since that's the part of the figure that contains the batteries/electronic component.
That sounds reasonable to me. Still doesn’t look great, but regulations. What can you do.

These figures look so awesome, they way they articulate and the amount of accessories they come with is incredible!
The Midas Rex figure is good if you missed out on the vault play-set that also had a default (non Ghost or Shadow) Midas

You get 90% of a second figure, I’d prefer 2 full figures over this gimmick.

Honestly it seems like Max Level figures would do better in 4 inch form.
I really hope they remake the zero figure with chest articulation (and non translucent paint in my opinion)

I was wondering y it was do expensive....but yah totally right looks like omega...I ended up buying McFarlane omega because was annoyed with the armor falling out
I have midas and oro
Midas is horrible, his armor barely clicks on, his possibility is limited to the armor, and overall just feels bad to handle.
Oro is great in everything BUT hand ability.
They both feel like spaghetti and it's hard to want to pose them.
Honestly might as well get the victory royal figures over these.
Ah yes been waiting for a review on these guys. I can't believe they're like 25 bucks at target, maybe if they had another inch on them

i dont know anything about Fortnite im not so much a gamer but an action figure collector, i have bought a few Fortnite figures when i think they look cool, i was looking at the Skeleton guy and thought he looked cool and was thinking of getting him to customize into a Skelton warrior. can you tell me if his arms and legs are removable?
They should be easily removable if you warm the figure up.

The battery might leak jazeware still made these stupid decisions with no replaceable battery

@@MacDowin ok. I think it wave 2 it would be a good way to add skye into the 4 inch just give her oli and her backbling pickaxe and weapons she drops then boom a good way to have sky. And maybe oli could have sound and double as a glider and part of her emote. Idk I think that would be cool. Rather that or I'm full of carp that's up to you.

That looks like Midas from the Chapter 2 Season 2 battle pass
Its Midas Rex from The Last Laugh game bundle. The bundle also had Joker and Poison Ivy.

Zero is a zero. Who'd a thunk it?
Oro is the best with zero in second place and Midas Rex in third place. They should have made a whole seperate action figure for both forms of Midas. Ripping off arms and legs is not necessary here. Besides, army building Midas Rex would be fun. Who wouldn't want an army og golden armed techno warriors?
That’s a really good point. Midas Rex with his helmet would make a pretty cool army builder.
